Where to Find Your Favorite Christmas Movies This Year

Tiffany Bell
One of my favorite things to do during Christmas time is to cuddle up on the couch and watch my favorite Christmas movies on television. There are so many different Christmas movies, from children's classics like Santa Claus Is Coming To Town to new romantic Christmas movies made especially for women. It doesn't matter what Christmas movies are playing on the television, during the month of December I am usually watching them.

Christmas movies help me get my mind off shopping and trying to find the best cheap Christmas gifts and instead lets me focus on the real reason behind this holiday.

Here is a list of different channels that you can catch your favorite Christmas movies on this Christmas season.

The Hallmark Channel

The Hallmark Channel is full of Christmas movies this season. Every night starting at 9p.m. the Hallmark Channel is having back to back Christmas movies. One of the new, featured Christmas movies that they are televising is called Moonlight and Mistletoe. This movie stars Candace Cameron Bure, who used to play DJ Tanner on Full House along side Tom Arnold. The movie is about a town who always has a huge Santa attraction until the town starts to go bankrupt. Other Christmas movies that can be seen on the Hallmark Channel include The Christmas Choir, A Grandpa For Christmas, and One Magic Christmas.

ABC Family Channel

The ABC Family Channel is the place to find most of the classic Christmas movies. They have a schedule called the 25 days of Christmas in which they play Christmas movies for 25 days up until Christmas day. Most of the Christmas movies that are televised on ABC Family are for kids and families to watch together. This Christmas season ABC Family is premiering the Christmas movie A Dennis The Menace Christmas and The Family Man. Check out ABC Family this Christmas to find the classic Christmas movies such as Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Santa Claus, Charlie Brown Christmas and How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

The Lifetime Channel

Most women are familiar with the Lifetime Channel. This Christmas season they are featuring something called Falalala Lifetime. The channel is playing at least one Christmas movie a night and on weekends leading up to Christmas they are featuring several Christmas movies through out the day. If you are looking for the romantic, tear-jerking Christmas movies, then this channel is for you. The have several new Christmas movies such as Flirting With Forty and A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride. You can also catch other Lifetime original Christmas movies from the past years that will be shown again this year and also watch some classic Christmas movies like White Christmas.

Visit each of the channel's websites to find the exact Christmas movie lineups and start enjoying your favorite Christmas movies.

We watched "Grinch" last night. I like when they put him in the Chair of Cheer - and JIm Carrey's Grinch character says, "You can't do this to me, I'll file a lawsuit!" The cartoon will always hold a special place in my heart, though. Thanks for the info and channel lineup!
