Most people are cutting corners and pinching pennies every way that they can lately. Not many of us can splurge on things that we do not really need and a lot of us have had to learn how to stick to a tighter budget. Grabbing a soda and an interesting magazine while standing in line at the grocery store is an easy thing for most people to give up to save a few dollars. If you miss your magazines though and want something new to read every month there are a lot of places online that you can find free magazine subscriptions.

Many large companies buy magazine subscriptions and give them away freely. These companies offer a popular magazine completely free along with a less popular magazine that is also free in order to get more subscribers for the not-so popular title. In hopes of getting more exposure for these magazines the publishers give them away to people expecting them to share them and in return, produce more new subscribers. The company saves money on advertising by simply offering the magazine for free. You can also find free subscriptions online in exchange for short surveys.

Since readers buy what's advertised in the magazines why can't the magazines be offered for free? That way both the magazine and the advertiser would make money.
