Where to Find "Good Tunes" on YouTube.com

Wendy Alli
Digging through youtube.com, I found some extremely talented musicians which I think others may enjoy. Categorized by style and/or instrument are some really good tunes and music to listen to on youtube.com. Some of these videos have really not gotten the credit or hits they deserve. The musicians in the videos are incredible and I recommend them for all to watch. The following are instrumental videos, whether piano, keyboard, organ or synthesizer with a little bit of information about the artist.

Inspirational
Tribute to 9-11-01 by Seth Rye
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT3enhu1QbY

This touching video has very nice orchestral sounds, voices and percussion played on a Roland Atelier organ. It is hard not to cry while listening to the music and watching the video. If you have never heard Seth Rye perform live in concert, watching this video will be a big treat for music enthusiasts alike. Rye has performed for over 30 years touring throughout the United States, Canada, U.K., Europe and many other countries. Seth Rye has a comedic personality and is a phenomenal accomplished musician.

Boogie Woogie
Boogie Woogie Piano by Tommy Johnson
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHmmid1pLi8

Tommy Johnson is a self-taught musician who began playing the piano at the age of four and was featured on the Horace Heidt show at the age of seven. In 1980, Liberace hosted a World Keyboard Entertainer Search where Tommy made it to the top four performers in the world and performed at the Las Vegas Hilton! He prefers playing big band, boogie woogie and jazz music. His videos are performed on a Technics PR-804 and a Yamaha Tyros 2.

Hip-Hop
Ronald Jenkees

Ronald Jenkees is very much into technology and loves making music. A musician friend of mine pulled up Jenkee's video, anxious for me to watch it. By the end of the video I was hooked! Ronald Jenkees enjoys making videos to share his music, entertain the viewers and encourage others to play. He also wrote the podcast theme song for ESPN's Bill Simmons. Jenkees performs on a Yamaha Motif XS8 synthesizer.

Liberace
Liberace is in a category of his own! If you really enjoy entertaining piano, watch some of Liberace's performances on youtube.com. He played a variety of styles which included Boogie Woogie, Ragtime, Polka, Big Band and Latin.

He was truly one of the greatest pianists and entertainers of his time. The link provided is a video from 1969 with Liberace on the piano playing Tico Tico. Other Liberace performances, which I hope you enjoy, are posted by the same YouTube user.

I cannot believe some of the posts under the videos that defame Liberace. If someone is a true musician or enthusiast they would be inspired by Liberace's performances.

Pop
Funkytown by Byron Madigan
Byron Madigan of New Zealand plays Funkytown on the Technics KN-7000 keyboard. I really liked the voices he chose for the song. Overall, Byron Madigan's videos are worth a peek.

I hope that you enjoyed the selection of videos. It is very hard to find decent, down to earth musicians, such as those I have explored on YouTube amongst so many videos posted.
