Where to Find the Hottest Accessories for Your MySpace Profile

Becky Fuentes
On MySpace, everything is about appearances - from your display photo to your MySpace layout to your extended network banner. The problem is that sooner or later all MySpace profiles start to look the same.

One of the worst offenders is that boring "About Me" survey on people's MySpace profile. I'll admit that the survey was amusing in the beginning, but now the novelty has pretty much worn off. Personally, I could care less if my MySpace friends prefer Pepsi over Coke and whether or not they like thunderstorms.

If you really want to impress your friends, try adding one of these cool accessories to your MySpace profiles. With choices like clocks, comic and horoscopes - there's something for everyone.

Blingjam - Bling for your MySpace, Blog and Website

This site offers a variety of accessories - everything from cool clocks (that actually tell time) to LED tickers where you can display your own custom message. It's super-easy to use too! Simply choose which feature you want, then copy and paste the code into your MySpace profile. Now you can literally watch time slip away as you spend hour after hour on MySpace.

bLaugh

If you're the kind of person who thinks that the only section of the newspaper worth reading is the comics then this feature is perfect for you. Go to bLaugh and get the HTML code to enter into your MySpace profile - each day you'll have a funny, new cartoon displayed on your profile.

We Love Widgets

I'm not really into the whole astrology thing, but for those of you that are, this site will display your daily horoscope in a fun, bright colored, um… widget. Plus, anyone who visits your profile will be able to see if they're compatible with you. The best part is, not only will you be able to see what the day holds for you, but now you won't have to answer that stupid, "What's your sign?" question from weirdoes anymore.

RockYou!

MySpace only lets you display 12 pics on your profile, but now you can show off all the photos you want. Create a slideshow on Rock You! with all your favorite pics and display it on your MySpace profile. RockYou! Slideshows are completely customizable - you can choose theme, captions, font color and transitions.

Frazy

Instead of listing all your favorite artists, movies and books by name in your "Interests section", go to Frazy and create a list of your favorites. Then put the HTML code on your MySpace profile to display thumbnail pics of each of your favorites. Much better than a bunch of misspelled names, don't you think?

MySpace Games

Everybody loves games! So why not add a fun, interactive game that your friends can enjoy to your MySpace profile? MySpace-Games has a great selection of games - Pacman, Word Search, Sober Santa, Urinal Game, Sudoku and more - so you're sure to find one that you like.

Testriffic

Create your own quiz and find out which one of your friends knows you best. Simply go to testriffic.com, create your quiz then past the interactive scoreboard on your MySpace profile. Your friends can have fun trying to do outdo other people's scores. Good times.

Enjoy!
