The first and probably the best source of content is from employment expertise. Assuming that you are not in the CIA or work in a top-secret position, you possess a wealth of knowledge that someone not in your field would not know. For example, when you see my insurance related content, understand that arises from my "day job" in the insurance industry. Ebay has developed from a hobby into more of a second job, so I will lump any Ebay related content in this category. The point is, if you spend 40+ hours a week doing something, whether it's legal, professional, clerical, or handyman type work, you have knowledge that someone else is would love to be privy to. So, share it (if it's not confidential) and watch your page views increase.
The next and, arguably also, the best would be content written from hobbies. A hobby has an advantage over a job: you aren't required to spend your time at your hobby, so you are doing it solely because you enjoy it. As a result, your interest and passion (obsession, in my case) gives you a knowledge and expertise that others will crave. eBay used to be my hobby, before it morphed into a second job. When I write about coins or personal finance, those are hobbies of mine. I don't have to participate in either of them, but I do simply because I enjoy it and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others. Whether you are a gardener, fishermen, tennis player or model railroad builder, take some time to share your hobby experience with the rest of us. The hobby will prosper when you pass along what you know, and your page views will flourish!
Probably some of my best content comes from writing about things I feel very strongly about. I love being to express my opinion and back it up with facts without having to worry about offending my family. Not that I want to offend my readers, either! When you have deeply rooted opinions about social, political, religious or family issues, your passion comes through in your writing. People who agree with you will pass along to others who agree. People who don't agree with you still pass it along to show others what an idiot they think you are-nevertheless, you get page views for all of them!
Reviews are another great source of content. Whether you loved or hated a hotel you stayed at recently (Tremont Park in Baltimore-hated it!!) or absolutely love a new gadget or gizmo or even watched a "gotta see" movie last weekend, you can share your experience here. Others will benefit by avoiding your mistake or duplicating a good purchase-al the while your page views tick upward!
Another source of content I enjoy is just looking at the world around me and finding things I want to know more about. I then do a little research and turn it into content. For example, I'm looking at an eraser on my desk, wondering how the heck they make these things. Perhaps my next article will be based on how an eraser is made. I benefit because I have gained knowledge and overcome a question that I had...plus (you guessed it!) my page views increase!
Finally, and closely related to my last point, is watching news headlines. If something memorable happens in the world, everyone wants to get the inside scoop. Just as I wonder how an eraser is made, I may wonder how Warren Buffett came to be such a well respected business man. I'll do some research and report my findings...bam! My page views increase.
Of all the income-generating internet opportunities, AC is by far my favorite. To find content, just look at the world around you! You can share what you know with others, learn new things and grow personally, and watch your page views to see exactly the impact you are having on your little part of the internet--not to mention your bank account!
