Where to Find Inexpensive Women's Fashion in New York City

Never make the mistake that just because you are in New York City that you cannot find inexpensive fashion. There are more then enough places to go to, it is just a matter of knowing where to start. Below are some of my favorite inexpensive shopping locations in NYC.

Forever 21 is the place to begin for every part of your outfit that you are looking for. When you come out of the store, expect to carry armloads of bags and still have money leftover in your wallet. They carry everything to wear from day to evening and in between. A simple black dress will cost you under $30 and you will have a choice of more then a dozen to choose from. Everything is made well and lasts long. There is something to find for every body type. You will sure to walk out of there feeling like a million bucks.

If you're looking for accessories and jewelry, Laila Rowe is a great store to find a ton of items. They carry adorable rain boots in different patterns so even when it rains or snows, you stay dry and still look fashionable. The jewelry runs between $10 and $20 each, however every time I look they are having a sale. Every accessory is beautifully detailed and will compliment whatever outfit you're wearing with it.

Every woman should have some beautiful lingerie. Unfortunately some pieces can be more expensive then a dress. At Pink Slip you can find gorgeous pieces of lingerie that will leave you able to afford clothing to go over it too. They carry the basic but beautiful camisoles and slips to the more daring costumes. Body control products are also available.

Trendy fashion is never hard to come by in NYC, but a great place to start is Steve & Barry's. They carry fashion by several celebrity designers including Sarah Jessica Parker and Amanda Bynes. Both lines carry gorgeous clothing and everything in those lines (Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker and dear by Amanda Bynes) are $20 and under.

Makeup is never something you should be afraid to spend some money on. A lot of the very cheap brands do not last very long after application and you end up just reapplying which makes the makeup run out faster and you just have to repurchase. At Sephora, the makeup is gorgeous, long lasting and you can find something for every skin type. The colors are in every shade possible and many come in color coordinated sets. The prices are fabulous and I have never been disappointed after a visit to their store. If you want to look absolutely beautiful and save money, take a trip to one of their many stores.

Feeling beautiful and looking fabulous never has to cost a fortune even when shopping in NYC. However, after this shopping trip, you may just need a second person to carry all your bags.
