Free Online Coloring Pages

Carly Kullman
So know that your child has realized the fun of the computer, they want to explore and you want them to be safe. Where, here is a nice list of some websites that offer online interactive "coloring pages" for them to use. This is a great resource for homeschooling parents too looking for something to show their children and teach.

Disney Magic Artist:
You can find anyone of your favorite Disney friends and color away.

Fisher Price "Little People"
This is a cute interactive site that lets you color those infamous Fisher Price "Little People" that we all love and know. Even after you get done coloring, you can take your little artist's picture and print it out and stick it on the fridge to show off proudly.

Random Coloring Site
This site has a variety of topics that you can choose and color. They have everything from holidays to animals and a little of everything else in-between. You can spend hours here as there is so much to choose from. After you finish coloring, they have options for you to save the picture (hey, you could even use it as your desktop picture) or print it out. The choice is up to you. What a wonderful way to really make your child feel good.

Of course, please monitor your children while they are on the computer. While these sites are "kid-safe" you never can truly be prepared for what may happen while you step away to answer the phone, pull something out of the oven, or check the mail. Use this time to share and explore with your child. Many of these sites will allow you to print out the picture or even save it to your computer when it is finished. I encourage you to really take the time and do this. Hang it up, display it where it will be seen by everyone. This will really encourage your child and make them feel a sense of pride in their work.
