Where to Find Pictures, Sketches and Designer Information for Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding Dress

As millions of people around the world tune in this morning to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton one question of many minds, especially the female viewers, will be who was lucky enough to be the official designer of Kate Middleton's wedding dress.

The lucky designer has been revealed to be Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.

In what had become a closely guarded secret to be revealed through Buckingham Palace after the wedding started Kate Middleton's official Royal Wedding dress promises to be an instant success with professional sketchers and knock-off celebrity dress designers who eagerly awaited the moment when Kate Middleton would step out of her carriage to walk down the aisle and the designers get to work making copies of her dress.

Brides around the world will be eager to get their hands on a copy of what will become the most famous Royal Wedding dress since Princess Diana married Prince Charles in 1981. The wedding is also guaranteed to be the biggest wedding of the year. Everything from bridesmaid dresses to the wedding cake and party designs are sure to become popular with wedding planners and party stores alike.

While the big dress is the aimed to become a bigger story then the wedding itself here are a few things the publc was already made aware of in the days leading up to the Royal Wedding:

On Monday British Pastry chef Fiona Cairns was revealed to be the designer and chef for the wedding reception cake. Prince William and Kate Middleton chose a traditional English fruit cake with a white cream frosting and sugar flowers symbolizing love, marriage and faithfulness.

Last week sketch ideas from some of the biggest names in the fashion world, including Vera Wang, Valentino, J.Crew, Gucci and Nicole Miller, were released online. The designers each took a stab at their vision of a wedding dress for Kate Middleton.

Designing a dress as big as Kate Middleton's could be a blessing or a curse for a fashion designer. J.Crew sales went through the roof after Michelle Obama revealed her and her daughter's outfits were designed by the company for the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall revealed she will be wearing a custom designed dress from designer Anna Valentine. Valentine is well known for her simple dresses and designed the dress and coat Camilla wore to her wedding in 2005 to Prince Charles.

British bridal designer Nicki MacFarlane was given the task of designing the bridesmaid dresses for Kate's sister Pippa Middleton and the younger girls who will follow Pippa down the aisle.

When it comes to the Groom and the Groomsmen Prince William, his best man Prince Harry and his groomsmen will all be wearing their respective military uniforms. Most of the men in attendance have also been instructed to wear their military uniforms, which is a Royal Wedding tradition.

Prince Harry's on again/off again girlfriend Chelsy Davy will be wearing two different dresses by designer Alberta Ferretti to the wedding. While it isn't clear if the couple is together again, Chelsy was invited as a friend of both Kate Middleton and Prince William.
