Where to Find Prepared Thanksgiving and Holiday Food in Kansas City, missouri

The holidays are here, and I haven't even bought as much as a can of cranberry sauce yet. Of course, cranberry sauce is one of the easiest jobs to get assigned to on the holidays. One of the things that seems to take aot of time and oven space is desserts. Mainly pies. Pies tend to be one of the most desired foods for these big holday get togethers. You never seem to have enough. Plus, they are really great to send home with friends and family as they head out the door. This year, why not lighten the load a little, I guess cheat a little (noone has know), and order your pies pre-made? Save room in your oven for your turkey and dressing, and time in your day for your family. Everyone will be thrilled with the assortment of pies you have for them. Here is a list of three restaurants that would love to share their delicious pies with you.

This American traditional restaurant is located in downtown Grandview. The restaurant also has a bar and gift shop in it, and has been around for over 43 years. They offer a wide variety of homemade pies. Including, pumpkin, chocolate, and pecan. These delicious pies cost $8.50 each. They also offer a variety of pre-made pies, including Andes Mint pie, for $12.95.

Call or show up no later than Tuesday, November 21st to ensure your pies are there for the big feast.

Bell Street Mama's is a real down home restauant located in midtown. The selection of pies can't be beat. They assured me that they could do any pie made-to-order. Just ask, and they can make it for you.

You need to order these pies a week in advance. So, for Thanksgiving orders you need to place an order no later than November 16th. The owners of Bell Street Mama's insist on handling all of these types of orders. Call between 4:30 and 5:00 and ask for the owners.

Cascone's Grill is located in downtown Kansas City and has been around for more than fifty years. This great restaurant also assured me that they could make me any kind of pie I wanted. Including, but of course not limited to; banana, pumpkin, pecan, banana cream, and coconut. The pies cost $9 each. Your only problem will be deciding which ones to buy.

To have these pies by Thanksgiving, you need to order by the 17th. This will get you your pies the day before the big holiday. Cascone's Grill does require that you pay in advance.

Whichever place you choose, I'm sure you'll be thrilled with these tasty treats. Don't wait too long though, or you might be stuck in the kitchen trying to fit your slighty less than thick pumpkin pie on top of your poor turkey.
