Where to Find Printable Baby Shower Invitations

Kat Sanders
It's been 7 months of anticipation. There are only a couple of months left. You have a whole room ready to be filled and your family is excited. What else is there left to do? Why, the baby shower of course.

You are excited... and broke. How can you cut costs while planning your baby shower? One way is to use online printable invitations. Buy some nice but inexpensive printer paper. Design your invitation on one of the following websites and then print and send. This will give you the invitations you need at a fraction of the cost.

Top Five on Google Search

American Greeting

American Greeting is a household name and online presence. Now, you have the ability to print your invitations from their web site. Also, if you need an invitation for a birthday party or bridal shower, they have those as well. There is a free one-month trial membership, but remember if you keep the membership for longer than the trial, then you will pay the $29.95 for a year.

Do It Yourself Invitations

Do It Yourself Invitations is a very cute site. Like American Greeting, there are more invitations other than ones for baby showers. Plus, these are free. The only drawback is that there is only one plain option for baby showers.

Plan the Perfect Baby Shower

Do you need a web site that not only has invitations but also has information on everything you need for a baby shower? This is the site. An all encompassing web site dedicated to the "Perfect Baby Shower". It starts with the four rules of the baby shower: You want them to be cute, original, and fun. Colors, textures, and styles are huge. It should be fun, not stressful. Never ask for a guy's opinion! Start with one of 28 invitations and then expand from there!

Invitationland

According to their home page, "The online invitation maker at Invitationland.com allows you to quickly make free invitations to print at home or at a copy shop. You can also create single invitations in PDF format which are great to email or use with your photo printer at home." This site is great. There are a lot of interesting invitations and all for free. There is an interesting invitation maker that makes changing the text & colors simple and easy.

Creative Baby Shower Ideas

This site reminds me a lot of the Plan the Perfect Baby Shower site, only not as in depth. They only have eight invitations as opposed to the twenty-eight that are on the Plan the Perfect Baby Shower site. They also have theme, craft, food and other baby shower information as well. Check out this site as a way to make a comparison or for other interesting tidbits.

Out of all the sites above, by far, my favorite is Invitationland. This site has everything you need for any type of invitation. They make it simple and quick to make and print as well as its all free!

If I was in the need for designing and throwing a baby shower, then I would go to Plan the Perfect Baby Shower as it has everything you need to throw the shower with a variety of options, especially on invitations.
