Where to Find Real Estate Listings in Fayetteville, North Carolina

NC Veteran, Patrick McKinney
Where to find quality home listings is a priority concern for military families who rotate in and out of the area with little say in the timing of these moves. More families are finding the internet the best way to search for real estate, research neighborhoods, and in many cases even purchase homes before arriving in the Fort Bragg area. When returning to Fort Bragg from Germany I had only one priority information requirement; where was my family going to live? I needed to find real estate listings that were accurate and home listings that were current with multiple pictures of each room. I, like many others, turned to the internet. Below are three sites I used in my successful search.

The Fort Bragg housing market is unique in that it is spread out over 3 counties; Cumberland, Harnett, and Hoke. In addition to the City of Fayetteville to the south and east of the military reservation, the Fort Bragg community includes Spring Lake and developments north and Hope Mills to the south and Raeford to the west. A search to find home listings in the Fayetteville, NC area will return Real estate and home listings for each of these areas.

Home listings by owner

A twist on the go it alone for sale by owner, MilitarybyOwner.com provides an option for buyers, renters, and sellers who are interested in avoiding the fees associated with a traditional realtor relationship. MilitarybyOwner.com does not provide legal forms or services, but does have an affiliate relationship with U.S. Legal Forms, LLC and links can be found throughout the site. MilitarybyOwner.com does not list with any of the regional MLS databases, but rather relies on the military, their families, and the communities that support them.

This testimonial was posted at MilitarybyOwner.com by Tom of Fort Bragg (Fayetteville, NC) - "This site is an invaluable tool for selling your house in a military "sell by owner" community. I couldn't keep up with the phone calls and email hits. People still contacted me after the house was under contract. Customer service is excellent; a very small investment for a huge payoff."

Home listings with financial statistics

If a bit more statistical data on housing market financials is what you are after, Yahoo Real Estate is packed full of market information. Yahoo Real Estate offers median values, market value changes by month, and annual statistics. One major concern of the military home buyer is resale value when the time comes to move again. Yahoo's home listings can add essential information when making a real estate decision in the Fayetteville, NC housing market.
