With discounts and restaurant coupons I am often able to cut anywhere from 10% - 50% off of my restaurant bill. In the Knoxville, Tennessee area there are several places that offer restaurant coupons. This article helps you find them.
Every year, school systems in Knoxville and East Tennessee sell books of coupons to raise money for the schools. I always try to buy one or two each year. The cost is about $10 each and offer substantial savings.
There are coupons for stores, restaurants, banking services, groceries and more in the Knoxville area. I've found the books to be worth the investment. Usually the book is paid for with the first coupon or two.
Did you know that free coupons can be found in Knoxville gas stations and grocery stores? These little newsprint booklets are usually zip code specific and often have coupons and deals from newer eateries. The coupons can include free meals, discounts or promotions.
Another great source of restaurant coupons comes from the websites of the companies themselves. The deals usually aren't on the front page of the website. Sometimes you have to click a few links or sign up for an e-club. Promotions vary but I've received specials and Knoxville restaurant coupons from Bojangles Chicken and Biscuits, Ruby Tuesday, Chili's and others.
Daily deal sites like Groupon, Half-Off Depot and Restaurant.com that cover Knoxville sell vouchers for half off (or more) of the face value. They aren't limited to restaurant coupons or even to Knoxville. I've successfully purchased vouchers for Long's Drugstore, Petro's Chili and Chips and Brixx Pizza in Knoxville These vouchers can be given as gifts or used yourself.
I also save with my AAA membership. Some eateries (like the Hard Rock Cafe) give a 10% discount to AAA members. A full list of participating restaurants is available from any Knoxville area AAA office.
I've also found at that tourism sites in the Knoxville and East Tennessee area have restaurant coupons. Recently, I saved 10% off of the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant in Sevierville, Tennessee. Coupons for Buddy's Barbeque and other restaurants were included. The booklet also had discounts for other restaurants, hotels and even some attractions. All I had to do was visit the tourism website, click and print the online booklet before leaving Knoxville.
Another money saving option is to buy a restaurant gift certificate during a promotion. These days, it is not uncommon for restaurants to toss in a coupon with the purchase of a gift card. Although common during the holidays some businesses are starting to offer incentives frequently.
Customer loyalty cards aren't just for grocery stores anymore. Companies like Panera Bread are getting into the act. Sign up in the restaurant for free and register the card online. I frequently meet at Panera Bread locations in Knoxville for lunch with colleagues. So far I have received free espressos, free smoothies and cookies.
This type of program works better for me than paper restaurant coupons. Here, a misplaced reward card is no problem. I just give the cashier my phone number and cash in on the reward.
Online sites that offer restaurant coupons usually include the Knoxville area. There are dozens to choose from. Simply search 'Knoxville restaurant coupons' on your favorite search engine to find them.
All information in this article is current as of the publication date. Offers and participation will vary and are subject to change without notice. Users of restaurant coupons in Knoxville and elsewhere should always check the fine print on any offer for expiration dates or other information.
