Santa Claus is entering his busy season, but he's still spending plenty of time in Birmingham during the Christmas season.

We don't want the kids to be disappointed, so we'll tell you when Saint Nick will be home at Santa's House, 151 Martin Street in Shain Park, west of City Hall.

'" Wednesday, Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving Eve), 6:30 to 8 p.m.

'" Friday, Nov. 26 (Black Friday), 2 to 5 p.m.

'" Saturday, Nov. 27, 1 to 4 p.m.

'" Sunday, Nov. 28, 1 to 4 p.m.

'" Friday, Dec. 10, 3 to 5 p.m.

'" Sunday, Dec. 12, 1 to 4 p..m.

'" Friday, Dec. 17, 3 to 5 p.m.

'" Sunday, Dec. 19, 1 to 4 p.m.

'" Friday, Dec. 24 (Procrastinators' Day), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Santa Claus also will be seen making his rounds in Birmingham's downtown, especially during the three-day Winter Market event on the weekend of Dec. 3-5 (3 to 7 p.m. Friday; noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) and on the pair of Magic of Birmingham gift giveaway days on Saturdays, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 (1 to 4 p.m. both days).
