If you're looking for Santa this year, then the Metro East, Illinois, area is the place to be! He'll be at various sites around the cities in that area. Here are a few places to look for him, so bundle the kids up and bring them out to these fun places.

Edwardsville, Il. Visit Santa in the Edwardsville City Park beginning November 28th. He will be at the park each Saturday from 1-4pm and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30pm up until December 23rd. You'll want to purchase a Polaroid picture of your child with Santa in a keepsake frame for just $3

Alton, Il. Santa will be at Alton Square Mall from November 23rd through December 24th. Come bring the little ones to see Santa while your out Christmas Shopping, stop in the center court in the new "Winter Friends" display. Santa will be in his sleigh Monday-Friday from 11am to 7pm, Saturdays from 10am to 8pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 6pm. There are a several picture packages available to purchase for lasting memories of your child with Santa.

Alton, Il. See Santa while visiting Rock Springs Park's "Christmas Wonderland" From November 27 to December 27th. The park opens from 6-9pm during the week and 5-9pm on the weekends. Come and see the spectacular light displays containing 2.5 million lights. Carriage rides will be available for $20 for the first person and $5 for each additional person. There is a free petting zoo; your children can buy treats for the animals for just .50 cents. And of course Santa Clause will be in his house waiting for your visit. Your child can get a picture with Santa for just $5.

Brighton, Il. Come out to the "Brighten Brighton" celebration on December 6th. This event will be held at Schneider Park. At 3pm Santa arrives escorted by the Betsey Ann Fire Department. From 3pm-5pm visit with Santa and have you picture taken, visit Santa's reindeer, vote for your favorite decorated Christmas Tree, or have a treat from Mrs. Claus' Kitchen. At 5pm will be the lighting of the Brighton Businesses Christmas Trees with lighting of the Village of Brighton Christmas Tree and be sure to stay for the Christmas Caroling. The price for admission to this fun event will be one item for the Brighton Food Pantry (non-perishable food items, household cleaning supplies, personal grooming items, and so on)
