Where to Find State and Federal Tax Forms in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area
Neighborhood: Atlanta Metropolitan Area

It is definitely that time of year again. The W2's, 1098e's, 1098t's, 1099's, 1099r's and a whole host of other seemingly cryptically numbered forms are arriving at homes across the nation. This numeric soup can only mean one thing, it is time to start getting those income tax forms ready. While modern technology has brought about a whole host of new options in the income tax filing game, there are many who like to stick the tried and true. These are the ones who like to grab a paper form, fill it out, stapling all those numbered little slips of paper to it and send it all in with fingers crossed.

If you are among the diehard manual filing set, the first thing you are going to need are federal tax forms and state tax forms. In the Atlanta area, there are a lot of options for picking these up while you're out running daily errands, or maybe on your way to or from work, lunch, or that afternoon soccer game. Check out some of these locations for a quick IRS tax form fix:

If you would rather not go out and get your forms, but instead would like the forms to come to you, here are some alternate methods of obtaining income Tax Forms:

· Call 1-800-TAX-FORM

· Tax Web

· IRS 1040 Central

· Form Send

· Georgia Department of Revenue

Make sure that you know what forms you will need to file your Federal, State and local taxes. If you purchased or sold a house, have new investments, took distributions or had other big events in 2007 you may need to use a longer form than you are used to. And, if you have had these or any other types of major events that might have a significant impact on your tax preparation, it is always advisable to seek the assistance of a knowledgeable professional in your area.
