The IRS has a local office at 1313 Farnham street in Omaha. This office offers bilingual assistance and is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and can be contacted at 402-221-3614.
If that location or those hours are not convenient for you there are several other options as well.
The United States Post Office has the forms available for free in its lobbies. You can find the branch closest to you at www.usps.com.
Your public library will also have tax forms for the public at no cost. You can find the location nearest you at their website www.omahapubliclibrary.org

There is also a toll free number for the IRS if you have questions 1-800-829-1040 that is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
If tackling your taxes on your own is not something you wish you try there are multitudes of tax preparation services in the Omaha area but be prepared to pay. Call first and ask for a tax preparation estimate. Even if you do not itemize it can run upwards of $100.00.
There is tax preparation software available as well that is approximately $35.00 to $50.00 depending on where you purchase it.
