Where to Find Victorian Christmas Cards

Well apparently for years I have been buying Christmas cards and didn't really know that there were Victorian Christmas cards. When I think Victorian art I think of smiling round faces and cherubs. I don't know why, but that's what I think about. So when seriously trying to figure out if I have seen any of the cards, I looked them up online. I have and I have even been given some.

There are some great places in your town where you can find Victorian Christmas cards. Walk into any local store or greeting card store and you are likely to find at least one box of these rare yet beautiful cards.

One great type of store to find these cards is a bookstore. I actually prefer going to bookstores because they seem to have more variety of Christmas cards. Stores like Barnes and Noble, Borders, Half Price Books, and Walden books carry these rare cards. Barnes and Noble and Borders have a bigger selection of cards than the other bookstores. They are more likely to carry Victorian style Christmas Cards that are reprints for their company. They probably have other Victorian Christmas items also.

Another great place to get Victorian Christmas cards is at the Hallmark card stores. Yes that's obvious because card is in the name, but you can find all kinds of Victorian Christmas cards there too.

The bigger chain stores also carry plenty of Christmas cards. Wal-mart all ready has their Christmas cards out and there are some Victorian Christmas cards there. I looked through their selection last time I was there. They have some Victorian cards. Target has a small selection of these cards too.

Let's not forget the little neighborhood stores like Walgreen's. You can find Christmas cards here and a few Victorian cards also.

Also if you like bargain hunting you could probably find some authentic ones in an antiques store, a thrift store, garage store, or by going through your old cards that you never used.

Now that I've gone over some of the places that you can walk to and buy these cards, I will discuss some of the online places you can find Victorian Christmas cards.

Of course one of the best places to look for Victorian Christmas cards are on Amazon.com. Another great place is any of the above book stores sites. Granted that it's hard to surf and find the greeting cards on these sites. You have to work at it even with a search.

EBay actually has some auctions of authentic Victorian Christmas cards. You can find anything on this site. It's good you can find these cards still, so if you want an authentic one to send to someone you can bid for one.
