Where to Go for the Best Facial in Simi Valley, California
Carolyn Moreno, a Licensed Esthetician at Bella A'more, Does the Best Waxing and Skin Care in Simi Valley!
Carolyn Moreno truly understands that no two people are alike, and that goes for skin too! Her personal treatment really makes a difference. Not only has my skin become silky and smooth in a way it never was before, she also does an excellent job shaping my eyebrows on a regular basis. To top it all off, she has the gentlest touch with hot wax in the most sensitive of areas.
Carolyn, who works out of Bella A'more Spa in Simi Valley, California, is unique in the way she sees her profession. While some estheticians see skin care as just a way of making money, Carolyn sees skin care as "much more that just a 9-5 job! I see it as a profession, and I see myself as a professional skin care specialist. I take it very seriously."
Growing up, Carolyn suffered with skin problems herself, and it is obvious that she personally understands the importance of a clear complexion. Carolyn explained, "I wanted to become an esthetician because I know the feeling of hating what you see in the mirror. I understand."
For many of her clients, Carolyn becomes more than just a service provider; she becomes a friend. Comfort is one of her utmost concerns, and she does a great job of providing a completely relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Unlike my prior steam machine nightmare, Carolyn takes pride in the quality of each and every session. "I think about a person's needs and wants the entire time they are on my table. I focus myself on them, not on the outside world or personal things in my life." In many ways, a facial at her private room at Bella A'more can become than just therapy for skin. She has a listening ear and a caring heart. "I have a soft comfy bed. I have a soft touch. I am gentle. I make people feel welcome. People open up to me, because they never feel judged. I don't make people feel rushed. I make it a point to remember things about them," says Carolyn, "My favorite part of the job is developing personal relationships with clients." She loves to see clients leave relaxed and happy with their skin.
Carolyn Moreno, who received her esthetician's license from Newberry School of Beauty, is well-educated in her skin care products and treatments, and she will personalize each p erson's treatment to meet their needs, but she also knows when a condition is something that needs medical attention. "People ask me questions, and if I don't have the answer I will humbly refer them to a doctor or dermatologist to get their skin taken care of," says Carolyn.
Although her specialty is her incredible facial, Carolyn's services are vast, and she makes it a point to think outside of the box for what will help you and your skin the best. In fact, a friend and I were commenting about how unsightly our post-pregnancy stretch marks are, and would you believe that Carolyn has a unique solution! She has suggested that we try microdermabrasion, a treatment often used on the face to remove fine lines and blemishes, on my stretch marks! Although this is not something I have tried yet, I am looking forward to it!
Now one would think that personal, professional service like Carolyn's would cost a fortune, but Carolyn's prices are very reasonable.
Her services include:
- Deluxe spa facials from 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours
- Full body waxing, head to toe.
- Microdermabrasion
- Alpha hydroxy acid peels / beta peels / glycolic, lactic, salycilic
- Acne facials
- Gentleman's facial
- Back facials
- Jessner peel
- Lash tinting / Eyebrow tinting
- Deep pore facial - eliminates toxins and clogged pores
- Body scrubs / body polish in the Vichy Shower wet room
- Hand and foot massages are included with certain facials, and a 20 minute face and neck massage is included with every facial.
