The most famous of the rock climbing facilities in Las Vegas is the Red Rock Climbing Center, being a mere ten minutes from the Red Rocks Canyon. This center has many amenities to offer included is this indoor climbing wall of35 ft., mountain guides for outside climbing, training classes for all levels, and yoga sessions. Their indoor wall climbing is divided into two groups; day passes and memberships. Day climbing pass (bring your own gear) is $15.00 as apposed to adult month of $60.00. Outside guide rates half-day (4-5 hours) 1 person is $125.00. Red Rock Climbing Center offers youth programs and parties as well as groups & team builds. I can see why the Red Rock Climbing Center is number one in Las Vegas.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a strictly reservations only guided tour. Registration can be acquired by filling out a few simple online forms. Patrons should possess prior rock climbing knowledge. The cost includes Guiding and instruction, all technical climbing gear (ropes, harness, helmet, etc.). Red Rocks Canyon begins there 2008 tour October 7 - 26. Cost (Grade II-III Routes): $305 for 1:1, $465 for 2:1 (per day), Cost (Grade IV-V Routes): $350 for 1:1, $550 for 2:1 (per day), Client-to-Guide Ratio: 2:1. It's a great place to learn how to climb, or tackle a multi-pitch classic you've had on your wish list of classic climbs to do.

Kids and adults alike will get some enjoyment out of this rock climbing facility GameWorks. GameWorks is located 3785 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste 10 and their business hours are Fri-Sat 10am-1am, Sun-Thu 10:00am-12:00am. GameWorks has the world's tallest indoor climbing wall at 75 feet that will tempt rock scramblers of all skill levels. GameWorks also has other games as well as food available.

The Sport Center of Las Vegas is located 121 E. Sunset Rd. Las Vegas, they have a 37' high indoor rock climbing wall ideal for all ages with 5 levels of difficulties. The Sport Center is just that and to prove it they offer so many other sport activities such as go-karts, arcade games, and billiards just to name a few; enough to fill your whole day.

The Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian has an indoor rock climbing wall, which is a great place for beginners to give climbing a try. The rock wall is about 40 feet high and has a couple of routes, all of which are pretty basic. You are required to sign up for a lesson with an instructor to do this activity and there is, of course, a charge for that. But with the price of admission, you get access to the fitness center facilities for a day. All equipment is provided with the lesson. The Venetian is located 355 Las Vegas Blvd or you can visit them on line here.

Out of all the rock climbing facilities I have found I would definitely choose to go with the Red Rock Canyon guided tours. If you didn't have time to schedule your trip that's ok you almost find a wall to climb anywhere. Good luck out there and happy rock climbing Las Vegas.
