But where in the Nashville, Tennessee area can you go, when perhaps you don't have your own horse and land and want to return to the days of your younger years, or perhaps just want someone to teach you how to do this valuable and exciting sport? There are plenty of wonderful stables in the area, and these top the list.

Located only about 10 minutes from the downtown Nashville area, A Cowboy Town has lots of things to offer for the entire family. They have 116 acres, filled with everything from Wild West Gunfights, live cowboy music, camping, hiking, fishing, fun bonfires, hayrides, and of course... horeseback riding! It's a great place to take a group, too, because they love catering to groups and parties and are very capable of doing so, as well. All of their horses are friendly, and they have a horse for everyone no matter what level of horseback riding experience you have. All of their horses are gaited, but they do have Quarter horses as well if that's your thing.
