She can't see the light
but the end slowly takes her away
while she survives the dark night.
It's been a long fight.
Her heart barely survives the day;
she can't see the light.
She knows the end is in sight,
her body continues to decay
while she survives the dark night.
He's convinced she'll leave tonight
and everything will be okay.
She can't see the light.
Whispers take flight,
she mumbles for him to take her away
while she survives the dark night.
"Where is the light?"
I heard her say.
She can't see the light
while she survives the dark night.
