Where is This Marble Taking Us

Leap into the Sky

LarrWayne Po
Where is this marble taking us,
That was tossed into the galaxy,
Slung with a spin?

It has a curved path,
And was lured
Into a chase its tail fashion,
Running around the sun.

We can't get off
Until it lands,
Right?

You can leap into the sky,
But why try?
The marble will pull you back.
You can't escape.

Are we doomed,
You and I?

Speak for yourself,
I don't want to get off,
Until heaven is in sight.

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

Love that last line my friend. Please stop the world when I get step into heaven. Great ending line with "I don't want to get off,
Until heaven is in sight." Well put friend. :-)
