Where to Pick Up Federal and State Tax Forms in Louisa, Virginia
As of early December 2008, in rural Louisa Virginia there is only one place to get both Federal and State tax books as well as any and all forms you may need in person. So I am including other locations and websites where you can either get some of the forms you need or actually file your taxes.
1. Jefferson Madison Regional Library which is located between the Louisa County High and Middle Schools at 881 Davis Highway Mineral, Virginia 23117

2. H and R Block Tax Preparation may have some of the forms you need, but they usually want you to pay them to do your taxes. H and R Block is located at 502 E. Main Street Louisa, Virginia 23093 this is in the shopping center with Farmers Foods grocery store. Phone 540-967-0288 No hours posted at this time, call for appointment.
3. Janice Dalton Tax Service also may have the forms you need, located at 100 Fredericksburg Ave. Louisa Virginia 23093 Phone 540-967-3104 call for appointment.
4. Online source for Virginia Income Tax forms and instructions www.tax.virginia.gov
5. Online source for Federal Income Tax forms and instructions www.irs.gov
If you don't want the hassle of going to get the forms in person or maybe getting the wrong forms on the websites there are many online tax preparation services which could be of help. By filling out your forms online you answer questions that inform you which forms you will need, and will even fill them out correctly with the information you enter.
