Where to Purchase Several Styles of Brown Wedding Invitations

Brown Wedding Invitations and More

JUNEANN REED
I will help you with suggestions and ideas to purchase brown wedding invitations. Just remember that "brown" can mean more colors and choices than you dreamed possible.

Because, at the great age of 65, I was married last fall and chose brown as my theme color, I can vouch that your guests will be totally impressed with your fall-color choices.

Hint: If you will be married in the fall a year from now, be sure to take advantage of sales during the fall season of this year. That enabled me to have a beautiful wedding without it being a budget breaker.

Invitations:
First of all you must decide upon your guest list and how many invitations you will need. Then, you will need to decide if you will have your invitations printed at a wedding printer shop or whether you will chose to do them yourselves.

Either way is totally acceptable. Just be sure you have the correct software and printer if you plan to do them yourselves. If your invitations require printing on special types of paper, try it to be sure it will work. You must also allow enough time to complete printing of invitations Purchase more invitations than you actually need. A few may be ruined in printing or addressing and you may decide to send additional invitations as time goes along.

Brown Invitation Suggestions:
There are hundreds of ways to get the look you want. Different ideas include using white or cream paper with brown printing and/or border, using a layered brown paper over top of your lighter paper, using ribbon to tie invitation closed, using brown paper and putting a clear paper over top, using an emblem that is a brown color and many many more..

Which color of brown is your choice?

Do you want chocolate brown, an even darker black/brown, rust, tan, beige, light brown, an orange-brown or any of the other many choices? Do you want your entire wedding with the same hue of color or do you want variety?

(I chose the variety of browns with a touch of gold and burnt orange. My cake frosting was a light brown and I used a beautiful brown votive vase with a candle for the top.)

Just because you see a beautiful rust brown invitation, it probably wouldn't be the best choice if the rest of your wedding is chocolate brown.
