The most popular website is of course The NORAD Santa Tracker, this site I think started online around 2004. I'm not sure, but you can Google the history of it to find out exactly. I did read that NORAD has been tracking Santa for over 50 years on many different sites, so this answer can be real interesting to some.
This website is pretty cool for the entire family. On December 24, 2010 your child can track Santa, but until then your child can decorate a tree, make a reindeer puppet, send Santa a text, play snowman soccer, reindeer hockey, or even make a funny elf face. If that's not enough, how about getting a personalized letter from the one and only Mr. Claus? The deadline for being mailed is Dec 6, but on Dec 7 you can get a downloadable one for only $.99.
Almost everyone I know has a Twitter account, and this goes for Santa as well. The account name is under Noradsanta. Right now there are 23,696 followers. This method will help you all by giving you status's where the man in red is, what he's up to, and maybe you'll get lucky and get a reply or shout out.
If your one of the unlucky ones that doesn't have a Twitter account, maybe you have a Facebook account. Mr. Claus can also be found here . 19,324 people Like this, so that's a definite plus.
This website offers a load of fun. I love the variety, they have something for everyone. You can write a letter, read Santa's blog, check out the countdown, get autographs, read live emails, laugh at silly jokes, listen to Christmas music, check out great photos, and of course track Santa on Christmas Eve.
Kids will love this website. They can keep track how many cookies Santa has consumed, how many homes he's been to so far, and the best part find out how close the man in red really is to you.
Would you like to see Santa take off and begin his journey around the world? On this website you can do just that. Also you can email Santa, become an Elf, Name the sleigh, color, and even find some cool gifts. How can you go wrong?
Last website is called ispotsanta.com , which I just recently learned about from of my comments on my Where is Santa Claus Article. Here you can check out videos and pictures of Santa. Then each day come back to the website and see what the elf's and Claus are up to.
