1. Mom Like Me is a St. Louis area website for moms to meet and share information about themselves. One way moms can connect on this website is by sharing pet photos on it. You can also put comments on individual photos to show your support of other moms. Whether you are showing off a photo of your child with your family pet, or showing off how much you spoil your pet, this site is a great place to post photos of your pet and connect your like-minded individuals.
2. Smugmug is a great place to share your St. Louis area photos, such as photos from the recent Beggin Strips Pet Parade in Soulard. Not only can you share your photos via social bookmarking through this site, but you can search and connect to other people from the St. Louis area, such as Rgilbert who shows off his photos of pets in the Soulard parade. This site promises no ads or spam and even features Smugmug user groups to share similar type pictures.
3. Pet owners can connect through St. Louis Today via posts on the discussion board or through uploading photos. This is a great way to stay up to date on area news having to do with pet ownership in the St. Louis area and to be aware of people's views on pet ownership in general. You can even share videos through this site and all sorts of animals are featured as pets.
4. Join the St. Louis Pets section of Flickr and you can share photos with people interested in the area. Or you can create your own album and invite friends to join who want to share photos and videos related to any type of pet you are interested in.
5. Treats Unleashed is having a pet photo contest-submit your favorite pet photo by February 28. Just send fifty words with the photo saying what a special relationship you have with your pet. The top five photo winners will get to take home a gift basket of their great goodies and be featured on their website and Facebook page.
