Where to Shop for Holiday Decorations in Miami, Florida

It's almost time to starting bringing the holiday decorations out again. Maybe this year you want something different, or need another figurine to add to your collection. Whatever the reason, Miami has a few Christmas stores that sell everything you'll need for outdoor and indoor decorating. Here are my favorite top 5 stores to shop in Miami.

The Christmas Palace

The Christmas Palace is one of the largest and most elegantly decorated holiday decoration shops I've ever seen! From themed Christmas trees and more traditional trees to santa suits, ornaments, tree toppers, and every collectible holiday item being made, the Christmas Palace has it all.

The Christmas Palace sells popular collectible names and items such as Department 56's line of animated and fiber optic village pieces, Fontanini's nativity items, and Lladro's and Preciosa's porcelain and crystal figures. If they don't have an item you're looking for in the store, you can order it and if the order cost more than $50, they will ship it to you for free.

The store's large selection of holiday decorations will have you browsing and shopping for hours.

Not able to decorate your home this season or just don't want to do it? Let Northstar Lighting and Decorating take over the job! They will come out and professionally put up lights and yard decor to make your home look absolutely lovely. I've seen a few homes in the Miami Beach area who have let Northstar decorate for them, and their homes inside and out could easily be mistaken for million-dollar homes whose every light and holiday piece looks to be perfectly placed and balanced with their home.

Northstar Lighting and Decorating will come into your home and decorate either the outside, inside, or both. They bring and supply everything. Northstar has trees, garland, wreaths, swags, lights, etc. I've seen Northstar's work in twisting clear lights up and around palm trees, hanging a festive garland of christmas balls and lights over a front doorway, outlining an entranceway with clear white bulbs, and trimming a beautiful christmas tree to match all the other decor in a home.

Northstar Lighting and Decorating will work with your business or home. When Christmas is over, they will come back and take everything up and return your home/business to normal.

Nikamaka Distributors operates under a very popular website business called BuyHammocks. Nikamaka offers the largest assortment of holiday decorations in South Florida! They have lit Christmas trees and wreaths in white and color lights and come in all sizes. Their trees are available in frasier fir, sierra fir, pine, a 14' woodland tower, douglas fir, and colorado fir just to name a few. There are many more options to pick from. Nikamaka's trees can be frosted, pre-lit for your convenience, and come in colors such as white, silver, red, purple, black. Again, there are many other colors to choose from. Two of my favorite products from Nikamaka are their upside down trees that attach to your ceiling and their tropical-inspired light-up palm trees.

The prices at Nikamaka/BuyHammocks has always claimed their products are life-like and easy to take care of. For the quality of their products, their pricing is reasonable. Expect to spend $300 for an artificial pre-lit tree and upwards of $700-800 for a frasier fir.

The store does take returns if you are not completely satisfied with what you ordered.

They have pre-lit trees, short fiber optic trees, lit garland and wreaths, as well as tons of ornaments and yard decor. Target is the place to get your ice-cicle lights, LED-lights, rope lights in different Christmas colors, animated outdoor pieces, stocking holders, water globes, village pieces, and tree toppers. Target is my personal choice for finding the best and most colorful holiday food platters and bowls, pillows, sheets, and towels. You can actually decorate your entire house just by shopping at Target.
