A great location no matter where you live is your public library; they usually always have a selection of IRS tax forms as well as applicable information that helps when it comes time to file your taxes. The Sierra Vista Public Library has a large selection of State and Federal tax forms located directly in the front entrance. The Sierra Vista Public Library is located at 2600 E. Tacoma, just east of City Hall. It is open Sunday - Monday Noon - 5:00 pm, Tuesday - Wednesday- Thursday 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, Friday - Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. In most cases, the Library follows the schedule of the city employees meaning that in some cases it may be closed in observance of holidays. The best part about going to the library to get your forms is that they also have an updated library of tax laws, this is important in helping you understand the ins and outs of tax laws as they change continually and annually. You can also access free WI-FI at this library in a quiet atmosphere allowing you to utilize the many tools available online as well.
Next, you can visit the main branch post office in Sierra Vista located at 2300 East Fry Blvd. This location is open every day except for major government holidays. The hours are Monday 8:30-6:00pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-5:00pm, Friday 8:30-6:00pm, Saturday 11:00-4:00pm, and it is closed on Sunday. Inside the main doors, they have an area set aside for both State tax forms and Federal tax forms. They also offer later hours on April 15th this is something that many postal offices will do for you as a courtesy, however not all may adhere to this as it is not policy.
Most importantly make sure you get the correct tax forms, research at your local library or check with IRS.gov as they will let you plug in your basic numbers to check which form you may need. There is also some free tax filing sites available through the IRS.gov website as well. Now you have everything you need to get your taxes filed on time in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Post a CommentYep, I get mine at the post office. ;-)
And we are going to know all there is to know about Sierra Vista, shortly...
Well the government spends that money better, I.E. Bailouts for billions dollar corporations, and slush funds for politicians ;)
Hard to believe it is that time of the year again; time to give the government one third or more of our hard-earned money so they can "redistribute the wealth." After all, we NEVER do anything for those in need on our own, right?
Oh the dreaded tax forms....yee God time flies!!!!! Take care!!!!
If I lived closer I'd be right there to get my forms. Thank you! Roberta Baxter
It is about 5 hours south of Sedona, originally founded as a support town for Ft. Huachuca it now is over 60,000 people. (last time I checked- this number fluctuates per deployments as well.)
Ft. Huachuca is the primary communications center for the US military.
So while it is not a huge town, it is also not a small town. It works for me at this time. ;)
Where IS Sierra Vista, AZ, anyway? I get the impression that it's a fairly small town. I guess I should Google it. I have relatives in Sedona. :)
Thanks for the comments everyone, and Ben that is FUNNY!
