Where to Stay at This Year's Kentucky Derby

Kentucky Derby fans will be looking for places to stay at this years event. You can experience the Kentucky Derby in style. These are my three prime hotel picks for this years race.

The Marriott in downtown Louisville has several package deals for this years Kentucky Derby. They offer two packages.

First Package
$1359 gets you the following amenities.
A deluxe room will get you breakfast for two each morning.
A lobby welcome reception with cocktails and snacks.
Upgraded turn-down service with a nightly racing magazine.
Lilies on Friday (Oaks day) and Roses on race day.
Champagne on both Oaks and Derby day and a souvenir photo on race day.

Second Package
For $1459 (Promo code SPE), you get everything above.
You also get a brunch meal for two, at the Marriott Bourbon Oaks and three nights accommodations.

Louisville Hyatt (888-492-8847)
Race for the Roses Package. You get the following amenities.
Luxurious accommodations and a Champagne reception on Thursday arrival.
Evening turn-down service with up to date racing forms.
A special gift to commemorate the Kentucky Derby.
A Derby upgrade that includes deluxe continental breakfast and refreshments throughout the day.
A gourmet hors d'oeuvers each evening (minimum 3 day stay).
The offer code is Roses. Rates are adjustable depending on room location.

Galt House and Suites (800-843-4258)
The Galt House is high class at it's best. They have three Derby packages loaded with amenities.
Exacta Package: $2699 plus tax gets you three days in the Deluxe Rivue Tower.
With this package, you also get a Thursday evening reception with hors d'oeuvers.
You also receive a special gift from the Galt House.

Trifecta Package; $3199 plus taxes. You get everything above with a stay in the Executive suite.
