Neighborhood: Ashland
Ashland, PA 17921

In central Pennsylvania there are a large number and hunters and fisher. Well you really need to listen up! I have come across a taxidermist that will give you animals that you can really be proud of! Rod Troutman's taxidermy out of Ashland Pennsylvania should be your one and only taxidermy destination. Rod of Rod's Taxidermy is a friendly family man who is trying to work his way out of employment to do something that he really loves and is passionate for.

He is a creative, hard working, perfectionist who will give you animals that you will be proud to show off to everyone. I myself am not usually someone that is impressed with mounts, but his work is really outstanding. The animals that he prepares for you will be outstanding. The work he has done with animals on platforms is simply amazing. If you check out his website at http://www.rodstaxidermy.net you can see photos of his work. Rod also holds the accomplishment of being a graduate from the Pocono Institute of Taxidermy. His prices are reasonable and his work is first class! From my experience, Rod is an individual that will discuss what you want to get out of your animals.

He is a talented air brusher that takes a great amount of pride in his work. He is also very passionate about hunting and fishing himself. He has recently done work on a black bear rug from a bear he took down. I think it says a lot about Rod's confidence if he is willing to do work on his own animals. The bear holds extra significance for Rod, because it completed a Triple Crown hunting season! I assure that this is not a decision you will regret. My final suggestion is that you contact Rod by phone first, as his shop is a little difficult to locate. If you have any questions about his services you may also email him at rod@rodstaxidermy.net .
