Learning to sew will never go out of style. Whether you want to learn to make simple alterations and repairs, learn to make items for yourself, your family or your home, or are interested in becoming a seamstress, designer or tailor you can find a school in New York that will have the perfect lessons for you. Many of them also have lessons for young girls and teenagers. They get such a charge out of creating their own clothes and who knows they just might create something special for you. Take a look at a few of the schools and the particular lessons they have. The classes vary and so do the prices. You also need to find an instructor you can relate to, one you feel comfortable and at home with, like you were in your own living room with a friend. Too bad you could not pick your teachers and lessons where you were in school. Might as well do it now.
