Where to Take Tennis Lessons in New York

Regina Sass
Taking tennis lessons is great experience for old and young alike. You can take lessons just for the fun of it, for exercise or to advance as far as you can and get into tournaments. They have lessons for children as young and four and when they start that young and take a liking to it, they are the ones that you will see in the major tournaments. Try and visit a few of the tennis clubs, meet with the instructors and ask if you can observe a lesson, or take a sample lesson. Take a tour of the facilities. When you commit to tennis lessons, you will be committing to spending a good deal of your time here and you want it to be a place where you feel comfortable and relaxed. Not only will you be taking lessons, but they also have social affairs for members only and when you advance enough to enter the tournaments, you will be at the club for extra lessons and extra practice. Tennis can be very addictive, in a good way. When you develop a passion for tennis, you will practically live at the club.
