Where to Get a Tattoo in Victoria, British Columbia

While visiting Victoria, British Columbia, you all the sudden decide to be daring and get a tattoo! But one problem, you are not familiar with this town and do not know which tattoo shop is the best? Fear not! I have suggestions and reviews on each tattoo shop that is available in Victoria, British Columbia!

Tattoo Zoo
I know a woman who works at this tattoo shop, and various friends of mine have gotten tattooed at this shop and have never regretted it. Tattoo Zoo began in 1994 and has been going strong ever since. This shop provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The staff is very dedicated, and humorous. Fo not be surprised to find the workers often joking with each other. However, when it comes to work, they are very professional and provide the highest quality body-art in all styles. Tattoo Zoo will do new tattoos, cover-up tattoos, and restoration of old faded tattoos. Tattoo Zoo also has guest tattoo artists that come in town to do tattoos often as well. Tattoo Zoo also does piercing, and one of my friends did body piercing at the shop. This shop is a very ex citing place to have your tattoo done, and I personally recommend this shop!

Stark Raving Tattoo
This shop is a part of the Hive Hair Salon, so you can get your hair done and then hop next door to have a tattoo done as well! This shop is owned and operated by tattoo artist Mike Dick. This shop started at 1990 and is still known as one of the high quality tattooing shop in Victoria. Mike and his apprentices have been dedicated to high quality tattoos in a clean comfortable environment, and have a great mass of loyal customers who come from all around the world to be tattooed by Mike Dick and his apprentices.

Fleshworks Tattoos
This shop, which was recently expanded and remodeled, is full of dedicated staff members who are ready and willing to answer any questions you may have. Fleshworks Tattoos also carries a huge supply of body jewelry, T-shirts, leather watches, cuffs, and accessories. This shop also provides body piercing. Fleshworks Tattoos prides on their clean studio, and perform monthly spore tests to ensure the autoclaves are working at 100%. I have never visited this shop and do not have any friends who have gone here, so I cannot recommend it. Let me know if you have ever been tattooed or pierced there and what you thought of this shop.

I was unable to find a website for Urge, which is a very well known tattoo shop, but it can be found on 586 Johnson Street, and the telephone number is (250) 380-2989. However, I will warn you. This shop is so busy that you need to reserve an appointment at least two weeks in advance. Other tattoo shops that I know of would be: Pair O' Dice which can be found on 13- 560 Johnson St, and their phone number is (250) 386-3423; Spitfire Tattoo on 552 Pandora Ave, and the phone number is (250) 381-4471; and lastly but not least, the Universal Tattoo and Piercing on 1306 Broad St, and their phone number is (250) 382-9417.
