Where is There?

A.M. Morgan
If I could just get there
I feel happiness will remain
But then again as time changes
So does my vision
I pray for clarity in the presence of clouded judgment
I still feel if I could just get there
My happiness will remain
But since I don't know where there is
Nothing in my life has changed
And instead of happiness
Confusion remains

I loved it, it reminds me of myself when I am transitioning through the everchanging seasons of life. Sometimes we loose a foothold, but as long as we can grasp and hold on to the moment, it calls out and is heard by purpose and reason....Thanks for sharing!

Well, that's 99.99 percent better than my own: "Sometimes I wonder why I wonder." .... Also in writing so openly, this helps people such as myself who become confused about the nature of the higher power ..... When we see that even spiritual people have such connundrums, we feel less alone in our own semi-spiritual doubts. Thank you!! -- Mike

Yes. You captured a feeling many of us experience. Good writing. Thanks.

I've been there; the sentiment, not the destination.

    oh, this is TOO TRUE.
I try to enjoy the journey on the way to "there", wherever it may be-- but that doesn't always work. :)
