Where to Get Trendy Plus Size Clothing

Jennifer Wright
These days, it is difficult for a vast majority of women to find clothes that fit them properly. So, where do we find trendy clothes for plus sized women? I usually don't have to buy many new clothes, but I recently had a baby and the weight refuses to leave my body. I don't want to wear clothes that make me look like I am still pregnant, so here is my experience.

I went to Wal-Mart to get a few things like Jeans and tops. They didn't have anything that I wanted in the plus sized section. I love Wal-Mart; don't get me wrong, but yuck! Also, would someone please tell me why their cute underwear only go up to size 9? Even worse, the size 9 is an extra large.

The shopping literally depressed me as much as having clothes that are too small do. My husband and I went home to search the internet. We both ended up upset because the models on the websites were so tiny and you had no idea what you would look like in the clothes you wanted to order. A lot of the times we picked something out, they didn't even have it in my size. My size is 16-18, which I think is fairly average. I also have to worry about length because I am tall too.

After searching for a while we got tired of it and consulted a friend, she recommend an online store called Torrid. This store is really nice because all the models are plus sized, it has a sizing chart that converts the sizes for you so you don't get confused about what size to order. Actually they have it converted so that the sizes you choose are 1, 2, 3, and 4. Whoo hoo, I'm a 2!

Torrid can be pricey, but they have a sale page and a clearance page. I found the site the day they were having a 50 % off clearance sale! Needless to say I ordered some stuff and was happy about my interaction with the store. Did I mention they also accept Pay Pal?

By then, I was on a mission to find nice clothes that fit you properly and make you feel better. So, I searched the web and found the best web site ever, called Pasazz. This website gives you a whole list of online stores that sell plus sized clothing. You can choose by category, such as casual or formal. The stores are all rated by stars. Torrid has five out of five stars.

Remember, that even though some of these websites may have expensive clothing. Most will have a sale or clearance page. Pasazz gives you the option of shopping around in one easy swoop, instead of having to search the internet over and over again.

I am happier because I can shop without being depressed about it, and I get trendy clothing which makes me feel good!
