This information has been compiled for you into a single website to find out where you go to vote for Election Day 2010. The League of Women's Voters have put together the Vote411.org site and everything that you need to be able to vote on Election Day 2010 is in one place.
The Polling Place Finder allows you to enter your address, anywhere in the United States, your city, state and zip code. Up will pop the information that includes exactly where you can vote on Election Day 2010, a full address, and a map from your home to the place where you vote.
It is very important to note that in most states you must be registered to vote. If you are not registered to vote, and on the list at the polling location, you will not be able to vote on Election Day 2010. So at the same site Vote411.org you can check if you are registered in your state. Click on the link "Voting in Your State", you will then be taken to a page where you enter your state and then you can verify your registration.
There is also information available for Absentee Voting, Ballot Information, ID Requirements, Voting Machines and Details about the Polling Locations (handicap accessible, etc.) for Election Day 2010. There is also a link for "On Your Ballot" . There you will find information on candidates in your state and the issues on your ballot.
