The Restoring Honor Rally, Glen Becks latest foray into ticking off the political Left, kicks off Saturday Morning in Washington DC.

Estimates of those attending the rally have ranged from as little as 40,000 people all the way up to 500,000 people. The mission of the rally is to " recognize our First Amendment rights and honor the service members who fight to protect those freedoms." The Restoring Honor Rally will also strive to recognize the heroes of American history who have had impact on its course through their personal virtues and led by that example.

Watch the Glen Beck Rally In Person
The event will be held at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and will run from 10am until 1pm, a scant three hours on Saturday August 28th, 2010. In a rather bold move for even Beck, the Restoring Honor Rally is scheduled to take place on the anniversary and site of Martin Luther King Jr's famous "I have a Dream" speech. One can only guess what the political implications are for selecting that particular date, in light of the recent allegations of racism against the Tea Party Movement. The Restoring Honor Rally is free of charge. If you want to go to the Restoring Honor Rally, find a place to park, either in town, or come in on the Metro line and walk out to as close as you can get to the Lincoln Memorial and reflecting pool to enjoy the Restoring Honor Rally. Buses are also available from the outskirts of town. The metro will run on its normal schedule for a Saturday as the Glen Beck Rally takes place.
