This silent movie theater will be featuring several horror movies for Halloween in September and October. Starting times vary depending on the day and the film, but will be at either 6, 7 or 8 pm. "Gambler," "Bleeder," "American Scary," "American Nightmare," "Victims," "Don't Go in the House," "Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl," "Tokyo Gore Shorts," "Give Up": An Evening of Sad Films with Heart-Shattering Scores," "Trick 'r Treat," "A Tribute To Maurice Sendak," "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter," and "The Prowler," are just some of the films you can enjoy. There will also be a Halloween party on October 31, 2009 and the feature film will be "Plan 9 From Outer Space," shown at 8 p.m. Ticket prices vary between $3 and $12, and the Halloween event will be $20 per person. Screamfest Horror Film Fest
From October 10 - 25th, you can enjoy showings of movies like: "30 Days of Night": "Dust to Dust", "Martyrs", "Zombiemania", and "Alphabet Killer" as well as various other movies and events. American Cinematheque - Halloween Horror at the Egyption
At this theater, you can enjoy classic horror movies like "Something Wicked Comes This Way," "The Horror of Dracula" and "Bride of Dracula," "Dusk to Dawn, Horror-thon, and more during the month of October. New Beverly Cinema
Located at 7165 Beverly Blvd, in LA (between la Brea and Fairfax), this theater offers another opportunity to view horror movies during the month of October. For $7 per ticket, you can enjoy movies like "Midnight Meat Train & Candy Man", "Shaun of the Dead," and much more. You are encouraged to show up in costume each night, especially on Halloween night.
