Where in the World is Tiger Woods?

Is the Golf Great Ever Going to Show His Face Again?

Lyssa Rose
Like the game Where's Waldo, the world seems to be wondering, guessing, and speculating about where Tiger Woods is hiding. It's not that he doesn't have an excuse to hide, but many celebrities who have faced cheating scandals have not disappeared the way Tiger Woods seems to have done.

Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, despite the complete destruction of her life as she has known it, or believed it to be, has continued to be seen out and about living her life. It seems that Elin would have more reason to hide because of the terrible embarrassment this situation has caused her, especially considering that a certain percentage of the population seems to feel the need to blame Elin entirely for this situation.

Even with the rumors that Elin physically assaulted him, she does not hide. Despite being accused of being a gold digger, she does not hide. She has to continue to be a mother to her children and go on with life in the best way she knows how.

The first indication of Tiger's supposed whereabouts, in the days following his car accident, was that he was still at home with his wife, working things out.

Next, it was speculated that Tiger was holed up on his boat in Florida, according to TMZ.

People.com reported that Tiger was sailing to the Bahamas.

Then, TMZ reported that Tiger Woods was spotted at the Trump International Hotel, in New York City with a new harem of women as well as ordering several bottles of Vodka and cases of Red Bull.

X17online.com reported that Tiger Woods had secretly checked into rehab in Arizona.

Yet another report, according to TMZ, was that Tiger Woods is hiding out at a friend's place in Africa.

So, what next? Will there be reports of an alien abduction that took place?

Frankly, it would be great to see Tiger Woods have to guts to show his face and go on living life and trying to be a good father. If anything, he hurts his image more and looks like a coward by hiding.

The world has forgiven many a cheater. The world soon forgets the transgressions of another person when that person goes on and keeps living life. Being as open as possible would eliminate the constant speculation and eventually the Tiger Woods news will be old news and no longer all that interesting.

Yes, only time will tell. Tiger still has yet to be seen. Elin however, is still going about daily life, raising the children. She really cannot allow herself to fall apart.

While Elin cares for their chiidren, the Tiger goes into hiding. Maybe this is part of his treatment for all his social ills, however. Would his scummy women be able to follow him to Africa? Probably not. We will just have to wait and see???

Tiger Woods knows for sure that Elin Nordegren will divorce him. Since knowing this Tiger has been very bitter, disappointed that he got caught and refusing to deal with the situation. He has not entered rehab to deal with his issues, as Elin had begged him to do for the benefit of their children. Tiger continues out there probably partying and feeling sorry for himself. Tiger Woods is a Big Coward. He is demonstrating much immaturity and great inability to accept and take responsibility for his own actions. We should not be surprise about this because after all he has been a fraud all along.

Your comments make a lot of sense. The longer he hides, the worse it's gonna get for him.

Lastly, I do agree Tiger needs to just get out and face the music. The longer he stays missing, the more he's being damaged. Power, fame and wealth have a grip on people (ie, Congress, CEO's, Bill Clinton) but coming out and being honestly humble and remorseful (David Letterman) can help the healing process to a very unique and exceptional career. Elin will survive and be the better for it. Tiger needs to try and do the same. No matter what, he is still the best in what he does for a living and he will be forgiven or at least given a reprieve over time.

I absolutely agree. Elin is going about her life. She has been seen eating lunch out with family, etc. etc. She just doesn't comment when the press asks her anything. He could go about his daily life and just not speak to press or only speak on his terms. Hiding seems like the silly thing to do if he ever wants this to "go away". Thanks for the comment :)

I think if he got a wounded face or if he is in rehab, then it sounded reasonable for not being seen in public...But if he is not that, then it is best Tiger (no matter how he likes privacy) to resume life as normal to meet people or go for exercise etc. I am not saying he need to do a press interview, but just saying that he has to operate his life as normal as he can rather than laying low.
