Where to Get New Year's Myspace Layouts and Graphics

Find a New MySpace Layout for the New Year

M. Langton
New Year's may be just one day, but it's still a good excuse to change your MySpace theme. Although there are plenty of free New Year's MySpace layouts out there, it can be a hassle to find the good ones. The problem is when you type "New Year's MySpace layouts" into a search engine, you come up with a bunch of sites that claim to have MySpace layouts with New Year's themes, but really don't or the site takes half an hour to load and then bombards you with pop up ads. So that you can get your MySpace layout for New Year's without having to wade through dozens of sites, here are a few good places to look.

NewYearsMySpaceLayouts.com
Yes, somebody decided to build a whole Web site dedicated to New Year's MySpace layouts. It's not just layouts, though; there are graphics, backgrounds, cursors, and dividers, too. While the graphic designers here seem to be a little more fixated on Champagne than most, they did make some alcohol-free New Year's MySpace layouts for the site. Other designs include fireworks and party scenes. They're all well designed with quality graphics and careful attention to color and visual balance. Unfortunately, though, there's no way to preview the layout as it would actually look on a MySpace page.

NewYearJoys.com
This is a great place to find all kinds of New Year's graphics. They have wallpaper, screensavers, backgrounds, icons, cursors, and even New Year's fonts. And, of course, they also have six different MySpace layouts you can easily preview and grab the code for. The layouts here are fairly loud and colorful, including some with animated sparkles, but they're fine if you're only going to be using them for a week or so.

FunMunch.com
Funmunch.com offers some more symbolic and philosophical MySpace layouts that feature a "road ahead" theme. These simple, tasteful layouts will work well for professional or business MySpace pages. If serious isn't your style, though, they do have a nice bright red layout with teddybears, strawberries, and plenty of animated sparkles. Not to be outdone are the New Year's graphics and wallpapers at this site. If you need New Year's MySpace icons, you can get those here, too.

CoolHolidayGraphics.com
While CoolHolidayGraphics.com only has two New Year's MySpace layouts right now, they do have a good selection of New Year's graphics, including MySpace icons and glitter graphics. They also have four pages of MySpace backgrounds for New Year's, most of which are simple and unobtrusive. On the down side, a lot of the graphics here are pretty plain and generic. There's really nothing eye-catching or funny. If you need layouts or graphics that won't offend anyone, though, this is the place to find them.

MySpaceGraphicsHelper.com
Again, not a whole lot of New Year's MySpace layouts at MySpaceGraphicsHelper.com, but a lot of good New Year's graphics. There are quite a few with the Grandfather Old Year and Baby New Year theme, along with some others focusing on the passing of time. The more fun graphics focus on Champagne and fireworks, though.

If you're looking for a New Year's MySpace layout to ring in the New Year with, start at one of these sites and you'll find at least a few you like without having to hunt around to much. If none of the New Year's MySpace layouts really appeal to you, though, you can always pick out some free graphics and create your own layout.
