Now I will be the first to let you know I am no saint nor am I perfect. We all have our flaws. But if you tune in to any of the above mentioned shows, you will undoubtedly hear people's sad stories of their debt problems.
These are the individuals who sound as if they are on the verge of tears, and some will even tell of the time they even contemplated suicide. All because they are about to lose their homes, cars or something else that is just as important and they do not know what else to do.
And speaking of doing, I have sometimes wondered where these people's minds were when they were busy charging this, swiping that and maxing out their last major credit card.
How can they not have known that if they do not take a pause from all that spending, that they would end up in this sad situation they now find themselves in. For when you tune in to the Suze Orman or Dave Ramsey show, some of these callers sound as if they were unaware of what they were doing when they were spending all that money.
Were they on some kind of dope, shopping in their sleep or in some kind of dream state when maxing out that credit card?
As for losing their homes. If you have access to the internet, there is no reason not to look up information on that Adjustable Mortgage Rate. A house is a major purchase. Look up information on that Adjustable Mortgage Rate before you sign that Real Estate contract.
Because when the sun sets for yet another day, those Joneses you are so busy trying to keep up with, would not come running to your rescue when you are about to dial up the Suze Orman or Dave Ramsey show. You are on your own.

Post a Commentyeah you SOUND like a humanitarian
Sorry, I didn't mean to be.
Not all who are in debt got there by spending frivolously. Some of us have suffered habitual unemployment, medical issues, or one of life's many unexpected turns. Don't be so judgmental.
