We all need to work out each day to stay healthy and in shape. Most people exercise in many different ways running, swimming, weights, walking, bicycling, and so on. There are two main exercises that can be beneficial for our health and bodies. The two exercises are called cardio and strength training. These are two exercises that are beneficial for weight loss and many other health related issues. In this article I will list the benefits for both of these exercises so you can decide which is right for you.

The first exercise I will discuss is the cardio workout. Cardio workouts are not just for losing weight it benefits you in many ways. Cardio helps burn helps your heart stay healthy. Cardio workouts are so simple to do that anyone can do it no matter your age. The benefits of a cardio workout are endless it's probably the best exercise workout you can do to help have a healthy body. I will know list some of the benefits of a Cardio workout. The basic and most important benefits are weight loss, healthy heart, less stress, higher bone density, healthier lungs, helps fight heart disease, and cancer. Some more benefits are relief of anxiety, better overall confidence, a better night's sleep, and more stamina during the day. As you can see Cardio exercise are so beneficial in your overall health. Not only will it help you in this way but it will also make you feel good about yourself. Also with a Cardio workout you can lower your blood pressure, cholesterol, and control your diabetes. Doing Cardio will keep our body in shape and give and keep us looking good, young and healthy.

There are so many types of Cardio workouts that someone can do. Some of the workouts that you can do include walking, running, biking, jogging, swimming, treadmills, stationary bikes, dancing, and so on. As you can see performing a Cardio workout is not very hard at all. A Cardio exercise is basically something that gets your heart rate up and makes you sweat. A Cardio workout can be done about three to four times a week and can be anything you enjoy. Cardio work can be done about thirty-minutes to an hour a day. There are many more exercises you can do than what I listed above, just choose the path that is best for you.

The next exercise I will discuss is the strength workout. The strength workout is for building muscles to help have a more fit and strong body. Building Muscle helps burn more calories and fat, so you get more energy. Some of the benefits of strength training are more muscle mass which helps burn more calories during the day than the same amount of fat. Some other benefits are a lowers osteoporosis, high blood pressure, and diabetes, toner muscles, weight loss and so on. Strength training is good for you in the long run. When you get older your body gets weak, your bones are not so strong, and your skin gets flabby and so on. If you strength train you help keep your body in shape inside and out. You will be able to do things when you get older that you didn't think you could of. This is also good for young people as well to especially if they do not work out. Strength training gives you more energy to do work around your house, lift things, makes you independent and so on.

Strength training is done using weights which can be scary at first. It is best to go to a gym and get help from a certified trainer who can get you started into weight lifting. This will help you lower your risk of injuries because you will be training with a professional. Using the machines at a gym is usually easier on our bodies as well. These machines are easier to use and get used to if you have never used weights before. If you try to start strength training with just using free weights you can injure yourself or others. Starting with free weights can be risky if you're a beginner, unless you are with a professional trainer. The most important thing to remember is to never use steroids. Steroids can harm you in so many ways and also lead to death. If you're going to strength train just workout using your own body and weights.

Eating healthy, working out, drinking water these are all good things to stay healthy. Strength training though is very essential as well in order to have a healthy lifestyle. Weight lifting gives your body benefits that no other workout can do.

Both cardio and strength training are good for you in many ways. The benefits listed in this article are just a few that you can benefit from. The two workouts are similar in how they help your body. They both can be done about three to four times a week and about half hour to an hour. If you want to live a long, healthy, and happy life I believe you should try these workouts. As with any workout if you have questions contact your doctor or gym trainer before you perform these workouts.
