Which Hollywood U.S. Actor Should Be Nominated for the Next President?

Phillip W. Chambley
Modern day U.S. presidents seem to be more entertainers than anything now days? so why NOT use more Hollywood actors like Ronald Reagan, one of our former and great presidents? The incredible actor Bill Pullman played a great part as president in the film "Independence Day" back in 1996. Just imagine if actors like this could honestly play these heroic parts in real life as American presidents?

Or the lovable Michael Douglas in the film called "The American President". He seemed to have the Mom's American apple pie charm for all viewers during this remarkable film, which I believe voters would have voted for Michael if he ever decided to run for president! Unfortunately, because present California governor and famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is NOT a native born U.S. citizen, he will never be allowed to run for the American presidency.

Even an extremely intelligent and loving U.S.A. actor like Michael J. Fox could have been in the "future" race for presidency if he had not got sick with Parkinson's disease. Simply, because his personal life and humanitarian beliefs is a reflection of the way all Americans should live? Caring about other people and honestly how they cope with the problems in today's society all around the world.

My personal pick of the next elected U.S. actor president would have to be Harrison Ford. "This guy has all the charm, manly speaking voice and incredible facial talent to simply scare off other predators from other foreign countries!" Harrison began his career in the early 1970's as a carpenter working on different Hollywood sets, so he knows the meaning of "Hard American Working Labor".

My next pick as a female U.S. elected president Hollywood actor would have to be Glen Close. "She seems to be a tough old bird, that will not take any crap from anybody!" Anyone that would use a man's name in everyday life and career has to have the courage to stand up anywhere at anytime! She also has the charm, intelligence and the knowledge of what's going on here in America.

Also famous Hollywood actor Richard Gere has made some distasteful arguable political comments over the years. So he's out! John Travolta portrayed the part of a president-elect as a democratic "stupid Bill Clinton" in the film Primary Colors running for president. This ridiculous black comedy honestly made John Travolta look bad as a person, whom so many fans have grown to love and respect over the years of his acting career.

The funny and talented actor Steve Martin would most likely bring a lot of comedy to America as president, but at the same time would HE be able to accept the foreign politics with other countries? And how cruel these diplomats or rulers can be regarding their very own people? Lovable Steve Martin, if given the chance, would eventually figure out a way to make all human beings all across the world to just "simply be happy in life" and love one another.

Tommy Lee Jones would be the next choice for the American presidential race. This incredible actor has a Harvard Law degree! Ironically known as having the highest IQ in Hollywood history, which he portrays as a "fast talker, fast thinker, decision maker, and forceful harsh management executive in his films". Tommy Lee and "Fast Talking" Hollywood actors like James Woods have both been reported as having the highest level of education in Hollywood in this particular time and date in history.

Fortunately, actor and former president Ronald Reagan, seemed to have all the charm, intelligence, speaking voice and charisma of what it takes to be an American president. It seems like whenever he spoke? The American people seemed to always listen over the T.V. or even the radio. Ironically, because of his on-screen Hollywood talent belief ability to convince anyone listening to what he is saying is true!
