Which Stores Are Open Christmas Eve?

Have some last minute Christmas shopping to do on Christmas Eve? Which stores are open on Christmas Eve that will allow you to finish up your shopping with moments to spare? This year, some retailers are staying open later to cash in on last minute shoppers. Find out which stores are open Christmas Eve and how late you'll be able to shop.

Wal-mart: According to Wal-mart, their national plan is to close at 8:00 P.M. on Christmas Eve. Also, some Super Centers are already open 24 hours a day and those Super Centers who aren't are expected to expand their hours through the holiday.

Kmart: Did you forget a few stocking stuffers? Kmart will open at 6:00 AM and close atl 10:00 PM on Christmas Eve, according to a press release. Sister store, Sears , will only be open until 6:00 PM. Both stores will have last-minute deals that may be worth venturing out for, including a Garmin Nuvi $99 at Kmart.

Toys R Us: Need a last minute toy or stocking stuffer? Most Toys R Us stores will be open until 10:00 PM nationally, according to their press release. There are some exceptions, based on local ordinances. Toys R Us will also be offering some special deals in the days leading up to Christmas. If you are waiting for a deal on a Wii game system, Toys R Us will be offering a $50 gift card when you purchase a Wii and a Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games Wii game on 12/22.

Target: Expect your Target to close by 8 PM on Christmas Eve, so get there early to finish up your shopping. Target will also be staying open extended hours after Christmas to entice customers to use their Target gift cards before year's end. Hot deals for the day after Christmas are half off over 100 DVDs and Blu-Ray movies and discounts on other electronic goods that you didn't get for Christmas.
