Which Video Game System is the Best? Playstation 3, XBOX 360, or Wii?

Brothers fight. It's a natural fact. From Cain and Abel down to the kids screaming at each other in the supermarket, it's going to happen. You may not think three gaming consoles are brothers, but they really are.

Big Brother, XBOX 360

Microsoft's XBOX 360 is definitely the big brother and shows it. He is stronger (XBOX GPU is superior with a better fillrate and more pixellating power), the quarterback that gets the cheerleader. He's the first to get the fancy cars like Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect and Gears of War and flaunts it. He's got more friends. XBOX live is going to be very hard to beat for a long time. You can send your friends a voice message, a text, invite them to the game your playing, link up with MSN Live Messenger friends on their PCs, play a multitude of small games. It's kind of like a big party that the other two brothers just weren't quite cool enough to get invited to. While it is often noted that Microsoft is an evil corporation run by demons with pocket protectors, they know how to make games and gaming systems. Mom and Dad let XBOX 360 do what he wants. Unfortunately his jock status often leads to more injuries and concussions than his brothers. Red ring of death!

Angst-filled Artsy Middle Brother, Playstation 3

Playstation 3 was just unlucky enough to be born second. In some regards he is the better brother. He's smarter. His CPU is much smarter than XBOX 360's tri-cored XENON processer, but it seems like knowledge put to waste. If you play an XBOX 360 game side-by-side with a PS3 game, in my opinion the XBOX 360 game will look and perform better. In reading articles by developers (I am definitely not one) it seems it's difficult to take advantage of the super-smart brain of the PS3. It sounds like this could be changing with titles such as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. He doesn't get along well with other people. Sony's online support isn't really up to par. While the early advantage and Microsoft Games exclusives set XBOX 360 apart, the PS3 also has his own life. Get off his back mom! Just because big brother was killing zombies all day with Dead Rising doesn't mean he has to! He's sitting in his room drawing beautiful artwork like Heavenly Sword, Gran Turismo 5, God of War II and III and Resistance 2. He also has a huge advantage in all things media since he chose the winning side in the Blue-ray HD DVD battle, and is much more compatible with media files. As often happens after high school, the smarter son is likely to outshine his strong, charismatic brother. Who's looking forward to FF XIII and Tekken 6? Me!

Little Brother, Wii

While his big brother PS3 is trying to outdo biggest brother XBOX 360, little brother Wii is just having fun and loving life! He's the family favorite. When he was born people waited in line to see him! They showered him with love and affection. No one ever had anything bad to say about him. No one cared that he wasn't as strong or as smart as his brothers. He was just so much fun! He naturally did things his brothers couldn't. His motion sensing controls were unbeatable by either of the other two. Naturally PS3 tried to imitate him, but nobody really took that serious. His friends are like him, just hanging out and having fun. While you're likely to get cussed out by a ten-year-old playing Halo 3, the Wii community tends to be a little friendlier. While the online play is not like either of the others, once again, it isn't really even trying to compete. It's still fun. Wii also likes to help people. The fitness and sports titles have people claiming weight-loss and healthier lifestyles already. He likes to write great stories like The Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxies. He was born with a huge advantage. You see, Grandpa Shigeru Miyamoto likes him the best. He gets the advantage of Nintendo excusive titles. Sorry big brother XBOX 360, that's even better than Bungie.

In retrospect, all three brothers have something to contribute. Which is the best? Well, of course we all have our favorites, but you can't very well ask a question like that, now, can you? (XBOX 360 baby!)

On another note, while these three brothers are having their squabbles, the rich twins at school have them beat in almost every way. PC and Mac are pretty much superior in every way.
