Due to their great deals and slick phone styles, T-Mobile has been very popular to the majority of the population. This in turn, makes T-Mobile's mobile to mobile minutes a great value compared to other services. T-Mobile being GSM digital you have the ability to switch to other GSM phones by just taking out your existing sim card and inserting it into another T0Mobile or unlocked phone.
Every corporation comes with advantages and disadvantages, T-Mobile has flaws of it's own. When it comes to traveling, T-Mobile is not so great, since you will have to roam often borrowing other tower's signal. Also, if you are the type of person that talks on the phone for more than three hours, T-Mobile often drops your calls, but this is a minor problem because you can always call them back. Sometimes out in the boonies you will not get very good service signal with T-Mobile because their GSM towers are based on the bar, whereas CDMA towers such as Verizon and Sprint are clear even with one bar.
Verizon has the largest CDMA network in the world. Their coverage range is parred with AT&T, both being America's biggest network range, Verizon's customer service is also good next to T-Mobiles. Verizon is probably more suited for businesses because of their awesome network, you will get signal almost everywhere. In crisp clear CDMA digital quality. Meaning that the quality is still good even if it's only one bar compared to GSM towers like T-Mobile, depending on the bar for the quality.
Due to their advertising campaigns and excellent networks, their price ranges to be quite high. Compared to T-Mobile you would have to pay $10-20 extra a month for the same plan. That way, most people get the cheaper plans with lower minutes, causing tons of over minutes every month. Also, because it is CDMA technology, there is a limited range of phone styles, and a hassle to change phones because you would need to call customer service and get them to set up the phone to work with your cell phone number. Instead of inserting sim cards to different phones with GSM.
AT&T being GSM/CDMA takes advantage of both network features. AT&T also uses sim cards giving AT&T users a wide range of cell phone choices also.
With both networks combined, their coverage range is about the same as Verizon wireless, making both, the biggest networks in the United States. You can also take advantage of mobile to mobile because many people use AT&T as their sole service provider. A feature AT&T has is the roll over minutes, basically what it is, is if you have left over minutes from last month, you can roll over the minutes to the next month.
Customer service is probably AT&T's biggest downfall, expect to explain your problem a dozen times before being transferred to the right representative and then having them tell you tough luck. AT&T's network signal is not that great either, being mixed with GSM and CDMA, their signal is not consistent and may take time to operate at 100% efficiency.
Their rate plans are also very expensive, even with the roll over minutes feature, why not pay for a cheaper plan with another service than waste money on the minutes you're not going to use?
All in all, although all service providers have their pros and cons, they are all unique in their own ways. T-mobile being the best for your buck, would probably be the best choice for any person, even if you pay for cancellation fees to cancel another service, to T-mobile, you woul d probably save in the long run and get a much cooler phone!
