Which Wrestling Superstar is Arriving on 2/21/11?

Wrestling Fanatic
On the Jan. 31 edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE ran a dark and gloomy vignette in the middle of the show. All that could be seen was a trench coat and boots, as the wrestler could be heard walking. At the end of the promo, 2-21-11 was flashed on the screen, indicating when this superstar will arrive to the WWE. Feb. 21, 2011, is the day after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and falls on a Monday. This means that the superstar will be revealed on Monday Night Raw. Here are five wrestlers who I think have a chance to be that mysterious wrestler:

Sting

The first candidate who could turn out to be the mysterious wrestler is Sting. Rumors have been rampant the WWE has been pursuing Sting ever since he let his contract expire on TNA. Sting is famous for being one of the only wrestling legends who has never competed for the WWE, spending most of his wrestling career in WCW and TNA. Sting not going back to TNA recently makes it possible that he did sign a contract with the WWE and the deal has been under wraps to make it more of a surprise. The trench coat and black boots that were shown in the vignette are one of Sting's trademarks, making it more likely that he can be revealed as the mysterious figure.

The Undertaker

The second candidate who that promo could be talking about is "The Phenom" The Undertaker. Taker has not been seen in a wrestling ring since losing a Buried Alive Match against Kane at the Bragging Rights pay-per-view back in October 2010. Taker has been battling injuries for the past few months, and is trying to make it back to WrestleMania in time. If Taker is to return to the WWE in time, he will try to extend his undefeated streak at WrestleMania, which currently stands at 18-0. Like Sting, one of Taker's trademarks is the trench coat and black boots, which he enters the ring with whenever he has a match.

Awesome Kong

While Sting and Taker are the two main candidates to make their wrestling returns on Feb. 21, there is an outside chance that the promo could be intended for Awesome Kong, one of the most intimidating and dominant looking female wrestlers in wrestling history. Kong always has a dark side to her, which could explain the vignette. Kong signed a contract with the WWE in late December, and has been waiting to make her WWE debut, which is supposed to happen at any moment. Kong spent three years in TNA, with no other female wrestler being her equal.

Diamond Dallas Page

The reason that I put Diamond Dallas Page on this list is because DDP is set to host "The Best of Nitro" DVD, which is being produced by the WWE. Page is best known for his time in WCW, where he was a former three-time World Heavyweight Champion and an enormous fan favorite. Page is said to have a positive relationship with the WWE, and a return to the ring should not be out of the question. Even though it's not likely that Page is the mystery man, a return to the WWE would garner huge crowd reaction.

Macho Man Randy Savage

The same type of reasons that apply to Diamond Dallas Page also applies to Macho Man Randy Savage. It might be a giant long shot that Randy Savage is returning to a WWE ring on Feb. 21, but it should be noted that Savage and the WWE finally have a good relationship after all the years of hatred between the two. WWE recently released the first Macho Man action figure in many years, and Macho Man himself even cut a promo for it. Randy Savage in a WWE ring one last time should not be discounted and it is possible that Savage could be inducted into the Hall of Fame very soon.

I hope it's 'Taker. For one I'd like to see him return soon. And two, my Mom is a fan of him & Trips. She's waiting for one of them to return, so it'd be nice if it happened soon lol.

I think we are definately talking Undertaker here at the outside it might be Sting. By past form a debut by someone like Sting would come with a surprise appearance out of no where in a major match or story line.

its a rumor but sting may have signed a one year deal wih WWE

Sting has never worn cowboy boots. The whole western gimmick is Undertaker's deal.
