To Make these Whimsical Daisy Dresser Drawer Knobs form Vintage Crochet Balls You Will Need:
Vintage wood crochet balls
Paint
Paint brushes
Power drill
Wood screws
To get started you want to paint your vintage wood crochet balls. I find vintage wood crochet sets all the time at my local flea market. The wood balls are the perfect way to make your own whimsical drawer knobs for a dresser or closet door!
By the way, these whimsical daisy drawer pulls also make fun and whimsical coat hooks in a mud room!
Now, go ahead and paint the wood crochet balls out in the color you want the inside of the Daisy to be.
While these are drying your can start painting on the daisy petals.
Now, remove any existing dresser hardware. Use small paint brush to paint the daisy petals around each hole. Make sure these daisy petals are longer than the diameter of yoru vintage wood crochet ball. If not you won't be able to see your art work.
Go for whimsical colors for the daisy petals to really accent and highlight these whimsical daisy drawer pulls!
Now, once the paint on the vintage wood crochet ball is dry you can use a light color, like white, or a light shade of the same paint to pain ton some small dots or circles of the daisy drawer pulls.
Once these are dry you are ready to install your whimsical children's dresser knobs.
You want o pre drill a small hole into the "back" of each crochet ball. Go about 1 inch in.
Now place the whimsical wood drawer knob in place over the hole. Use a wood screw from inside the dresser to attach the wood daisy dresser knob.
Tip: When you are painting those daisy petals on the children's furniture try adding some petals!
You can also paint on some whimsical bumble bees and more!
The override wood daisy drawer knobs will really transform the looks of a wood dresser and make is seem very Alice in Wonderland!
If you have a little boy, then try painting the vintage wood crochet balls out as wood baseball dresser knobs or basketball dresser knobs.
