Now Adams alleges a new example of exceptional bias at Holder's DOJ with his claim that the DOJ often ignores or delays FOI requests from more conservative entities, but liberal entities get immediate service. Adams offers the following:
"The documents show a pattern of politicized compliance within the DOJ's Civil Rights Division. In particular, I have obtained FOIA logs that demonstrate as of August 2010, the most transparent administration in history is anything but. The logs provide the index number of the information request, the date of the request, the requestor, and the date of compliance.
For example, Republican election attorney Chris Ashby of LeClair Ryan made a request for the records of five submissions made under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. Ashby waited nearly eight months for a response. Afterwards, Susan Somach of the "Georgia Coalition for the Peoples' Agenda," a group headed by Rev. Joseph Lowery, made requests for 23 of the same type of records. While Ashby waited many months for five records, Somach waited only 20 days for 23 records. Under the Obama DOJ, FOIA requests from conservative media never obtained any response from the Civil Rights Division, while National Public Radio obtained a response in five days.
In 2006, Charlie Savage, then at the not-yet-insolvent Boston Globe, requested all of the resumes of the recently hired attorneys in the Bush Civil Rights Division - including mine. DOJ leadership was convinced rushing out the resumes of dozens of lawyers far before the deadline was a good thing. ...
In spring of 2010, Pajamas Media requested the exact same information from the DOJ that Charlie Savage requested in 2006 - except for hires made in the Obama DOJ. Recall the Bush administration turned over all the resumes of attorneys as fast as they could, and well before the statutory FOIA deadline.
PJM's request was ignored. Then on October 13, 2010, the request was renewed by certified mail. Still, no response as required by law." (TheBlaze.com)
In another example of progressive hypocrisy or just outright lying, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow was on Letterman a few months ago when she leveled the allegation "I of course think that [MSNBC is] much more true than Fox is true," she explained to Letterman, and as an example pointed out that Fox had reported " dozens and dozens of times" that "the New Black Panther Party decided the election for Barack Obama." Maddow's petulant rant was aimed at who else...Glenn Beck, of course!
The fact checking group Politifact investigated Maddow's allegation and here is their conclusion:
"The transcripts we looked at showed that there was indeed lots of coverage on Fox. However, the discussions focused on the legal side of the story and whether other media outlets were derelict in not giving it enough attention. In all the coverage we examined, we couldn't find a single case in which the discussion revolved around the political impact of the incident, including whether the New Black Panther Party had helped put the Obama campaign over the top in 2008. So we rated the statement False."(original author's emphasis)
To wind up this installment of Whippy Leaks let's eyeball famous lefty journalist (I say "journalist" despite my choking on the words), MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell. Mitchell interviewed a former Muslim Brotherhood member who clearly and in no uncertain terms informed Mitchell "The Muslim Brotherhood's main mission; the very reason for existing is the politicization of Islam. They aspire toward a society that is governed under Sharia rule or Islamic Law...."
Then the next day Mitchell claimed the Muslim Brotherhood were not an extremist organization. For the sake of argument one might parse the words and meanings and claim Sharia IS NOT extreme. Horse hockey! Especially considering how American lefties and progressives spend so much time informing Americans that American Christians are extremists. Isn't this yet another clear example of progressive hypocrisy? Another stark demonstration of leftist media's dishonesty as they push an agenda yet swear no bias at all?
That's it for this time, but rest assured, there will be so much more to follow. After all, when it comes to progressives, there is always MORE and MORE and MORE! They're like a boil that just won't go away.

MSNBC......LOL!! Yet another fascinating installment Whippy!
Excellent job on this Whip!!! Keep us posted!
great job
Amazing, aint it?
TY for the clarification Note. Great write up, Whip. But oh does the topic honk me off big time. Wonder how Andrea Mitchell would characterize the Muslim Brotherhood if she had to live under their Sharia law.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: The first two paragraphs on page two are supposed to be italicized as well, as they were part of the direct quote from Blaze.com. I tried to go back and correct them and they show they are italicized on the composition page yet when I actually print the article they are not italicized. The system for some bizarre reason will not allow me to make the two paragraphs in question be in italics, although the composition page shows them in fact in italicized print. Go figure...an AC glitch? Say it isn't so! Anyway, they are part of the direct quotes. Sorry for any possible confusion.
