Whippy Leaks: the Going Gets Even Weirder

Snidely Whiplash
I didn't want to write anything today. I was taking the weekend off but I forgot and made the mistake of eyeballing Drudge, Hot Air and The Blaze so here I sit slack-jawed and compelled to write about the foolishness that passes for intelligent thought.

What happened to all this PC "civility" the Democrats insist Republican's don't know anything about? MSNBC's Chris Matthews thinks Palin is too dumb to know she doesn't know anything, thus too obtuse to run for president. What is it with these people? They are obsessed with her. It's almost funny to observe their self-imposed insanity about her. If Palin is the doltish moron they claim, why all the concern and chatter about her? What's with Kathy Griffin deciding to go after Palin's other daughter Willow? What did she do? Oh, that's right...be born to a woman whose mere existence terrifies progressives.

And speaking of civility, did reader's hear about one of the victims in the Tucson shooting going off and threatening a Tea Party leader with "you're dead" referring to the Tea Party fella. Or how about progressive Dr. Marc Lamont Hill calling George W. Bush and Obama "murderers?"

Bill Maher has decided the Founding Father's would have hated the Tea Party thing with his "Now, I want you teabaggers out there to understand one thing: while you idolize the Founding Fathers and dress up like them, and smell like them, I think it's pretty clear that the Founding Fathers would have hated your guts. And what's more, you would've hated them. They were everything you despise. They studied science, read Plato, hung out in Paris, and thought the Bible was mostly bullshit."

And another gem from Chris Matthews was that he wonders what's up with all the "crackers" wanting to see Obama's birth certificate. Don't know about you folks but I am loving, loving loving all this new civility progressives' demand. Seems the door of civility only swings in one direction though. Oh well, never could have seen that coming, right?

No more using battlefield terms for politics, huh? So it's not a fight; it's a competition I guess? Wait, progressives don't like competition either. Oh well, they'll inform us as to what we are allowed to say so no worries. And even the Republicans are getting into the act and paying lip service to this pure, unmitigated stupidity where once again it's not the results but the process that matters. Asses.

As well it seems Republicans didn't learn too much from November's election either. Oh sure, they're doing the Obamacare repeal thing and that's good, but in this PC effort leftist media and progressives are shoving toward "civility" which is really just shutting up conservatives by a new method, the Republicans have decided to go along. I guess Republicans don't really understand what it is people voted for in November, or more precisely, what they voted against. Lemme remind them:

We want the Obama/progressive agenda STOPPED DEAD in its tracks. WE DO NOT want to see them accommodated in any way at all. We want SMALL government and we mean NOW! We want spending SLASHED and again, NOW! We want the Constitution to be interpreted as the Founder's intended and NOT as leftist judges see it. We do not find the use of war terms to be anything other than nomenclature that has ALWAYS been used in politics...it's nothing more and nothing less. It IS NOT violent rhetoric and if Republicans cave and allow progressives their premises, it's over, again, only a matter of time.

Again, since when does ones adversary get to define the terms of engagement? How does that work out in real life? Caving to the demands of progressive PC speak and all the rest is the road to doom for any ideology. To cede the terms as progressives demand will be the undoing of any hope for this nation's future, unless of course one is a progressive. That anyone on my side of the aisle is so obtuse as to not see this amazes me.

Republicans had better wise up and damned fast. I have my doubts they will though. But on the positive side, I'll be fine. Stocking up on commodities will make me a well off person when the hyper inflation gets here and it's coming if we don't stop spending. My "investments" in things the left hates will see me well in the future, if you folks get my drift.

Suddenly I am finding I no longer care for the plight of the nation if my own side of the aisle is this f-ing stupid. Time to look out for me and mine and to Hell with the rest of it. And like I said, I'm good. If progressives succeed in their efforts, and clearly Republicans buying into their premises and demands will help progressives, well then I will do what it is I have been doing. If the worst comes I will be sitting pretty. And with progressives in charge the worst will come if they have their way. Cloward & Piven, ya dolts! If ya don't stand up and scream, soon it'll be too late.

We fought so hard to reacquire control and stop the Obama/progressive agenda. Now it seems once power was attained, it's politics as usual. To turn a phrase, "Stupid Republicans are as stupid Republicans do." This nation is in for major suffering if Republicans don't do what they were sent to DC to accomplish and thus far it seems the Tucson incident is giving progressives the fuel they need to freeze Republicans...not because it's the morally correct or fair thing, but because national Republicans don't seem to have the backbone progressives have.

How people vote, tells more about them than their name tag.

I'm already hearing talk about how some Republicans are saying that we need to "fix" the health care legislation, and that repealing it is "unrealistic". They'd better find a way to make it "realistic", or they'll be finding themselves out of a job soon. We hired them to STOP Obama, not work with him.

They are obsessed with Palin because they are afraid of her.

"Civility" is the new Progressive word for censorship. They have lost and their progressive agenda was exposed and soundly rejected. Those on the left only want the Repubicans to be civil while they continue to lie, cheat, steal, slander and make threats freely. I, for one, do not plan on toning down my opinions to make those on the left happy. As you stated, if Republicans do not stand up and do the things they were elected to do (stop Obama's agenda), 2012 is right around the corner. By the way, Chris Matthews is a closet birther and the whitest cracker on MSNBC's lilly-white lineup: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/12/27/chris_matthews_why_doesnt_obama_just_release_the_birth_certificate.html

Given I had to take a taxi the other day -- this isn't NYC mind you, Midwest --and said stranger starts opining about revolution, I think I'm stocking up on commodities too...just the prices in the store and the miles of vacant business real estate here is reason enough, let alone the deficit.

Whippy ... another very good piece. My heart just isn't in the fight the last couple days. I will thought see Major Jester's 'fear' and raise him a 'know.'

  • leroy coffie1/16/2011

they all need to wise up and fast

  • Major Jester1/16/2011

I fear your assessment is spot on, Whip.

  • Michele Starkey1/16/2011

Ouch, let's hope that they recover quickly and gain the backbone needed to make a difference. cheers
